A representative of Children's Hospital 2 said that after receiving information on social networks, the hospital's Board of Directors directed relevant departments to quickly coordinate with the Ben Nghe Ward Police (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) to extract security cameras for investigation and clarification. At the same time, the hospital has actively researched information about pediatric patients.

The police quickly extracted security cameras from the hospital and surrounding households. The results determined that at 4:37 a.m. on February 10, the woman carrying a baby went from gate 4 to Children's Hospital 2. At 6:18 a.m., the mother and daughter walked across the street to have breakfast and then re-entered the hospital in the area in front of the lobby waiting for the examination, and at 6:49 a.m., they turned on their livestream phones.

The two continued in the hospital lobby, at 12:37 p.m. they crossed the street for lunch and at 13:22 they continued to return to the hospital. At 14:08, the woman and the baby went to gate 5 to take a motorbike taxi to leave.

From the results of checking and retrieving security cameras, Children's Hospital 2 affirmed that the information the woman shared on social networks was completely false. Conclusions from the Police, there was no incident of pickpocketing in front of the gate of Children's Hospital 2 as narrated.

On the morning of February 10, when she was standing in front of the hospital gate, she was pickpocketed by two people who took all 9.5 million VND.

Ms. X. said that after losing her money, she could only cry and tell a friend about the incident. This friend advised her to record a clip and post it on social networks to get help. As a result, she received support from the online community, enough money to take her child to the hospital and return to Dak Lak.

According to Ms. X., she deleted the post after receiving more than 27 million VND, an amount much larger than the cost of medical examination for her child. She thanked everyone for their kindness and affirmed that she did not intend to deceive anyone.

Before the allegations, Ms. X. admitted that she had been in debt due to business losses 3 years ago but affirmed that she did not take advantage of her son for profit. Ms. X. said she was willing to cooperate with the authorities to clarify the matter.
