One of the people he met was a coconut water seller on the roadside, 73 years old this year, with poor health but still having to make a living on the street because of difficult family circumstances.

When Dam Vinh Hung stopped to buy water from the water seller, he took the time to chat with him and listen to his story. He shared that although he had children, they were also facing difficulties so he could not take care of him, and his wife was seriously ill and could only stay in bed. Seeing his pitiful situation, Dam Vinh Hung came up with the idea of giving him a special gift.

"I'm the same ag.e as your mother. Your two glasses of water cost 40 thousand, can you pay me 4 million? I'm telling the truth. I'll give you my canned fish too," Dam Vinh Hung said while giving the water vendor two red envelopes, one containing 1 million VND, the other 3 million VND, along with some canned fish he had brought with him. The coconut water vendor was so moved that he couldn't speak and thanked Dam Vinh Hung for this special gift. "I thank you for giving me a Tet," he said, his heart filled with gratitude.

The old lady is 86 years old this year, in poor health, her hands are shaking and she has to sit in one place because she cannot move much. Despite her old ag.e, she still has to sell lotter.y tickets to make a living. Realizing her pitiful situation, Dam Vinh Hung decided to buy all 73 lotter.y tickets that she was selling, equivalent to 730 thousand VND, and also gave her 2 million VND, telling her to go eat and take care to avoid having her mone.y snatched.

"That old lady selling lotter.y tickets is 86 years old but still sells lotter.y tickets. Because she is too weak to move around much, she sits in a corner. These people are old enough to be our grandparents, and should be at home with their children and grandchildren, but they have to go out to the streets to make a living," Dam Vinh Hung shared. This action not only helps the old lady financially, but is also a great encouragement for poor workers who have to work hard to make a living.

Dam Vinh Hung's actions also reminded many people of the recent scandals surrounding him, when he was involved in a lawsuit in the US and false rumors about a serious incident.
