The case of a grandson hiring a friend to attack his grandmother: The commune chairman made shocking revelations about the perpetrator.

In recent days, the incident in which Ms. NTL (born in 1952, residing in Da Hoa village, Binh Minh commune, Khoai Chau district, Hung Yen province) was attacked by her own grandson has shocked the local people.

What's even more frightening is that this inhuman nephew also hired a friend to help him plan to attack his grandmother, put her in the pond behind the house and set it on fire to erase all traces...

After 10 hours of solving the case, Hung Yen Provincial Police arrested the perpetrators, including: Nguyen Chu Thanh Tu (born 2009, residing in Da Hoa village, Binh Minh commune, grandson of Ms. L.) and Le Gia Bao (born 2010, residing in Phuoc Hiep quarter, Gia Dinh ward, Trang Bang town, Tay Ninh province).

Speaking to the media, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hung - Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Minh Commune (Khoai Chau District) said: "When the authorities announced that Tu was the suspect who attacked my grandmother, we and the people were all surprised. Because up to now, there has never been such a terrible and reckless incident in the area...".

Previously, at around 6:20 a.m. on March 19, the public reported a fire at the house of Ms. NTL (born in 1952, in Da Hoa village, Binh Minh commune). Binh Minh commune police were present at the scene of the fire, coordinating with the people to put out the fire.

According to the Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Minh Commune, upon receiving reports from local residents about Ms. L's house on fire, the local authorities directed the police force to quickly go to the scene to put out the fire. However, during the firefighting process, people did not see the homeowner (Ms. L.) anywhere.

When searching, it was discovered that Mrs. L. was missing in the pond behind the house and had many injuries on her body. Immediately after that, Binh Minh Commune Police reported the incident to Hung Yen Provincial Police and through professional activities, the functional force arrested the two perpetrators.

According to local authorities, Ms. L. has two sons, one of whom is married and lives separately. The other married a woman in the same commune and lives with Ms. L., but this son is currently abroad...

"In the locality, Tu is normal, not showing signs of being naughty but is just addicted to games. This is also the common mentality of teenagers when lacking parental control...", said the Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Minh commune.

Previously, the media reported that because Tu was often scolded by his grandmother for playing too much, not studying, and staying out late many times, he had the idea of attacking her. After that, Tu hired Bao (a friend he met through playing games on the Internet) for 5 million VND to join him in attacking Mrs. L.

At around 3:30 a.m. on March 19, Bao went to Mrs. L's house to meet Tu and was given a knife by Tu (Tu himself also held a knife). Then the two climbed over the wall into Mrs. L's house and went into the kitchen to attack Mrs. L.

At this time, Tu searched his grandmother's pocket, took 180,000 VND, then together with Bao, dragged his grandmother's body and drowned it in the pond behind the house. After committing the crime, the two subjects wiped the blood stains in the kitchen. After finishing, Bao took the motorbike from Mrs. L's house and left, while Tu stayed behind to set fire to the kitchen and grandmother's house to erase the traces.

The Investigation Police Agency of Hung Yen Province has issued an order to detain people in emergency cases, arrest people in emergency cases, and decided to temporarily detain Nguyen Chu Thanh Tu and Le Gia Bao for dangerous acts causing others to die, as prescribed in Article 123 of the Penal Code 2015 (amended and supplemented in 2017), to continue investigating and strictly handling them according to the law.
