According to the investigation report, in early 2025, after noticing the scandals surrounding candies and vegetables, Thuy Tien asked Miss tycoon Pham Kim Dung to help her legalize the advertising contract to avoid shareholder responsibility.
Specifically, at the end of February 2025, social networks raised many fierce debates related to the fiber content in the vegetable candy products that Thuy Tien promoted. For fear of affecting her image and honor, on March 7, Thuy Tien asked Le Tuan Linh, Director of Sister Rot Company to sign an advertising contract dated December 5, 2024. The signing of this postponement contract aims to eliminate Thuy Tien's role as a shareholder.
One of the issues of concern is whether Golden Lotus Company - Thuy Tien's direct management unit is involved or not. During the investigation, the Ministry of Public Security clarified the responsibilities of individuals, including General Director Pham Thi Kim Dung, often known as the "miss tycoon".
The results of the investigation show that Sen Vang and related individuals did not participate in discussions, exchanges or negotiations in the process of producing, promoting and announcing products. They also have no role in signing or promoting agreements related to this product.
The investigation agency affirmed that Thuy Tien's act as an image representative for vegetable candy is completely a personal activity, not a representative of Golden Lotus Company.
Only on March 7, after Thuy Tien took the initiative to ask for help, Golden Lotus Company signed a contract with Sister Rot Company to legalize the promotion from December 2024. This is to help Thuy Tien preserve her image, and at the same time avoid unwanted effects on the name of the Golden Lotus.
More importantly, the investigating agency determined that Golden Lotus Company and related individuals, including Ms. Pham Thi Kim Dung, did not receive any benefits from the process of producing, promoting and announcing Kera candy. They also did not profit from the contract signed to help Thuy Tien.
Therefore, the behavior of Ms. Dung and three other personnel does not constitute a crime, nor does there be any sign of accomplice in the case.
Thanks to that contract, on paper, Thuy Tien only appears as a representative advertising vegetable candy products, but is no longer directly related to share interests. However, the investigating agency said that this was a legalized act to hide the real relationship, thereby accusing Thuy Tien of practicing the act of "Deceiving customers".
In the process of working with the investigating agency, Thuy Tien sincerely declared and admitted all wrongdoings. This is an important factor for the authorities to consider mitigating circumstances.
In addition, the defendant is a first-time offender, has a good character, has made many contributions to the community, especially in volunteer activities. Thuy Tien has also received many certificates of merit, certificates of merit, and letters of thanks from all levels, sectors and social organizations.
Notably, Thuy Tien's family voluntarily paid the amount of VND 3.2 billion to the custody account of the investigating agency to overcome the consequences, showing goodwill and responsibility after the incident. Currently, the authorities are still completing the procedures to prosecute Thuy Tien.
