In recent days, the case of Ty Thy closing her salad restaurant, being "influenced" by a gangster boss, has attracted the attention of netizens. Recently, the owner of the restaurant where Ty Thy had the incident spoke up to reveal the whole truth.
This person said: "That customer invited Ty Thy over for a drink. But in reality, saying this part also affects my customers, so I don't want to go into detail. Because all the customers are regulars of the restaurant, I don't side with one side and ignore the other. It is said that Ty Thy said a few rude words. People only asked if they knew who he was. Ty Thy initially answered like I don't care who you are, I don't care about this or that. That's why Thy Thy got slapped.
Thy said at that time that I set up Ty Thy to beat her. But I didn't have any reason or excuse to set up Ty Thy.
At that time, I stood up but I was in an accident and couldn't run. I intervened, not that I didn't intervene. Thy said to sit still and let people affect her. After that, I also felt very sad because I was the one who invited Ty Thy to my restaurant to eat and drink. I went to the restaurant to apologize to Ty Thy and hoped that she would forgive me and that everything would be fine."
After the owner shared his words, people immediately divided into factions. Some people defended Ty Thy, saying that she was cheerful and could not have spoken so rudely:
- Ty Thy's personality never says that.
- Then why ask who he is and what he does? What does he show?
- Ty Thy answered normally, that's right. Who needs to know?
- What kind of man asks a shocking question when he first meets someone?
- If there is nothing, Mrs. Thy will not move away.
There are also opinions agreeing with the owner:
- I believe this guy, if he doesn't say anything, why does he make people uncomfortable?
- Ty Thy is no pushover.
Some neutral people commented that just checking the camera would be clear, no need to argue.
Recently, in a video posted on his personal channel on October 26, "papaya salad saint" Ty Thy announced that he would close his restaurant on Pham Ngu Lao Street (Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong) from November 4 to move to Ho Chi Minh City after 6 months of operation.
This information continues to cause regret because Ty Thy papaya salad is the most bustling dining place in Binh Duong. On the last day of opening (November 3), diners lined up to enjoy the signature dishes.
Previously, on May 19, Ty Thy papaya salad in Binh Duong was a huge hit on its opening day, with tables packed from the outside in and staff working at full capacity. Some diners even had to wait hours for a seat or had to leave sadly.
Sharing the reason for closing this time, Ty Thy said she had difficulty with revenue. The number of customers was only high in the beginning, then gradually decreased. Currently, business is not good anymore, combined with personal problems, so she decided to return to Ho Chi Minh City.
"In Binh Duong, most of the workers are manual workers, and they have to worry about many things near Tet, so customers don't have much money to eat out. On the other hand, there are not many delivery apps here, so the products sold are limited. Before, I also talked about selling in Binh Duong for a few months, and if it doesn't work out, I will move back to Ho Chi Minh City because it has a diverse customer base and is closer to home," she said.
Ty Thy added that the cost of hiring employees is about several hundred million VND per month, and the fluctuating revenue makes her "headache". When closing the shop in Binh Duong, the amount of sales in 6 months was just enough to cover the investment capital. In addition, she also liquidated some old items to adjust the scale of the new shop.
Ty Thy is expected to open a new restaurant at an intersection in District 6, Ho Chi Minh City on November 19. The restaurant is not too large, with a capacity of about 100-200 guests and has air-conditioned rooms. This location is also convenient for diners traveling from central districts or Tan Son Nhat airport.
The menu still retains the famous dishes such as papaya salad with three-sided crab, chicken feet marinated with lemongrass and lime, Thai vermicelli, fried beef balls, raw shrimp with Thai sauce, green Thai lime tea... In addition, the restaurant also added papaya salad with fish sauce for diners from the North and Central regions.
"The new location is also a restaurant so there is no need for much decoration, just redoing the signboard. If business is still not good, I will definitely move back to my house on Ben Phu Lam Street (District 6)," she said.
