According to Dan Tri, there is also a guy who has saved and eaten 4 plates of broken rice/day thanks to taking the Metro train. That guy said: "I chose this way because the bus stop is only 400m from my house, I got off at Rach Chiec station and took the train to Ba Son station, then walked 300m to the company. Although I have to go around longer and it takes about 40 minutes, I feel okay because the walking path is short, the combination of bus and train is very reasonable."
If calculated at the time when Metro line No. 1 started charging fees, each trip to work on this route of Mr. Tho cost about 12,000 VND.
