Before receiving the sanction decision, in the afternoon of February 22, Nam Em first apologized on his personal page, saying that he did not do well as a citizen, causing bad influence on social networks in recent days. "I didn't do well academically, loved myself, but instead clung to the traumas of the past. I take all responsibility for the law," she said.

Before Nam Em, many celebrities were fined for making inappropriate statements on social media. In October 2021, the authorities fined model Trang Tran - owner of Youtube channel "Trang Khan" - 7.5 million VND for concluding that she made objectionable and non-standard statements on social networks. She was asked to remove videos with obscene language and apologize to the public.

After much noise of Nam Em over the past time, a few days ago, Trang Tran livestreamed and mentioned the beauty Tien Giang. She mentioned that Nam Em was mentioned by the Department of Information and Communications. Trang Chen did not hesitate to mention the story of the previous day when he was fined and thought that juniors would also pay the same fine as his case.

On the TikTok channel (with nearly 1 million followers) - where Nam Em held the livestream - there were also no more clips, causing her to be fined VND 37.5 million.

She reposted the authorities' notice requiring all social media account holders to identify and delete videos condemning cyber discrimination.

"I have been held accountable to the law for my mistakes. Those who attack me will not get away with the law," Nam Em shared.

In addition to the story of having to report to the Department of Information and Communications, Nam Em recently continued to face trouble when the Miss Mekong Delta Organizing Committee posted a press release depriving her of her right to accompany the pageant. Southern Em is suing if there is no direct apology addressed to her.
