Tran Thanh Tung: VTV's weather MC, causing a fever because he is too handsome and has a great education

Tran Thanh Tung is a name that is no longer too strange to VTV's audiences. He is the leader of the weather forecast at 7 p.m., famous for his handsome appearance and great knowledge base.

BTV Tran Thanh Tung is a very familiar face of TV viewers. He is the "only male MC leading the weather forecast at 19 o'clock" of VTV, making a strong impression by his handsome appearance like an actor, inspirational conduction, attractive and close to viewers. The MC was born in 1985, taking on many other jobs in parallel such as MC at the Television Station, lecturer at Hanoi University of Industry and participating in training new MC faces.

Since he was in high school, Thanh Tung has sent his application to Hanoi Television. In 2008, he tried his hand at TV game shows and was selected to host the programs "Weekend Auction", "Pun"... Over the years, besides the main job at VTV, Thanh Tung has also taken on the role of MC for beauty contests, large and small events outside.

Thanh Tung graduated with a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Economics, Hanoi National University. He is also a lecturer at Hanoi University of Industry. Up to now, Thanh Tung has had 16 years of teaching at the school and led many generations of students.

MC Thanh Tung shared that his becoming a TV host originated from the two words "fate". Through the recommendation of a friend, he went to the recording studio of a "hit" gameshow at that time on the Hanoi channel.

When I stepped up to take a test shot. He was overwhelmed because he had almost no experience. He recalled: "At that time, I was quite stunned, but perhaps the director saw my potential and love for this job, so after about 2 weeks, I received a notification of acceptance. At that time, I was bursting with emotions because this was too big an opportunity at that time. More than 15 years have passed, and the memory of that first time is still intact in me."

Becoming the only male MC of Vietnam Television's weather news, Thanh Tung shared his feelings when taking on this special role: "Usually people will get used to the appearance of beautiful and graceful female MCs on the weather forecast news. Therefore, when there is an appearance of a male MC, it may also be a highlight that makes it easier for the audience to remember him. It is my great honor and luck."

Due to the nature of having to regularly update information and weather developments, many weather forecast news now have to be broadcast live. In such direct leads, BTV - MC Thanh Tung has had many memorable memories, many times encountering "bad crying and laughing" situations.

"Once leading directly outside the scene, the weather was quite good, I had prepared all my words in the direction of beautiful and dry weather, but at the right time to broadcast live, it was raining again. So immediately at that time, I had to adapt very quickly to convey the actual weather situation to the audience.

Then there were times when the Storm news was updated every 1 hour, directly through the night, the working atmosphere was urgent and tense, I only had time to glance at the script. At that time, I used all the experience I had to lead in the most fluent way, bringing the clearest and most accurate updates to the audience," MC Thanh Tung shared.

As an MC of a national television station, leading important news, Thanh Tung is always aware of the need to appear in front of the audience with the most perfect and well-groomed appearance.

Talking about the secret to taking care of his appearance, the male MC revealed: "In my diet, I often limit starch, sugar, and fat. I also have to pay more attention to skin care, especially facial cleansing because the frequency of my recording is dense, almost daily makeup.

In the past, I often played tennis, swimming, and went to the gym to exercise my body. However, recently due to busy work, I have not been able to practice regularly. In the near future, I will definitely rearrange everything because more and more, I see the value of health. You must be healthy from the inside to have enough energy to work, to dedicate and enjoy life."

Despite his handsome appearance, elegant and masculine style, the male MC admits that he is not a well-dressed person. Even so, he always keeps in mind that he must always be as neat as possible, not sloppy and easy when on the picture.

He confided: "I have a special passion for Korean-style suits because it suits my form and personality. I often joke with people that how much I earn from working is spent on buying suits.

In everyday life, I prefer minimalism and comfort. A pair of jeans and a T-shirt is handy enough when you're out on the street. Overall, I like things that are gentle and courteous. I don't fit in with outfits that are too disruptive and stand out from the crowd."

After many years of ploughing and working hard, the male MC finds himself without any special economic achievements, not too abundant but only enough to live comfortably in his own way. My biggest "asset" is the love of the audience and I hope that I will get "richer" over time.
