That is Nguyen Thanh Thai (born in 1994) - a teacher of cultural subjects for grade 3 at Trung Vuong Primary School, Uong Bi city, Quang Ninh province.

"I started dreaming of becoming a teacher since primary school. I don't know how to describe it, but seeing the image of teachers standing in class, imparting knowledge to students made me admire them. However, at that time, I also had to struggle a lot to pass the Primary Education exam because the standard score was quite high. During my studies, I had to be multi-talented, also learning singing, painting... all of them. After graduating, I taught on a 1-year contract and did military service according to the quota of the Department of Education.

When I was about to leave the army, I took advantage of my time to study everywhere and anytime to review for the civil service exam. When I started teaching, I was not as relaxed as many people thought. Especially for primary school teachers - they have a very different characteristic from teachers at the high school level, which is that they are trained to teach many different subjects, and are considered 'general teachers'.

If you are a homeroom teacher, you have to take on more responsibility. In previous years, I was a homeroom teacher for grade 5. In addition to teaching in class, I also had to manage and make sure the boarding students ate and slept on time.
