It can be seen that this year's sales situation is said to have decreased quite significantly compared to previous years. Many fashion stores on Tran Quang Dieu Street (District 3, Ho Chi Minh City) - a fashion route - post and display very strong promotional notices. The owner of a store on Tran Quang Dieu Street said that the number of customers this year is much less than last year. This person did not say specifically how much revenue was reduced, but emphasized that "prices have dropped this much without seeing a single customer".

This woman also said: "This year, the store almost did not import or store too much goods for Tet because of previous predictions." Currently, she is hoping that "this week (the period when companies will pay bonuses - PV) the sales situation will be better".

Mr. K. - owner of a men's fashion store on Hoang Van Thu Street, Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City - also shares the same opinion about the situation of fashion products selling quite slowly this Tet.

"We have a certain number of familiar customers. On this occasion, the store sent some new collection samples to customers, but most of them just said 'to look at', not to make purchases," Mr. K . speak.

Currently, Mr. K.'s store is focusing on developing customer markets in neighboring provinces to expand the opportunity to sell the most products. However, "this is just a situation because the main market in Ho Chi Minh City is, in a few days we will not be able to send COD goods (ship first, receive payment later - PV) to the provinces. We are also looking for ways to manage the city market," said the owner of this store in Phu Nhuan district.

Similar to the store owner on Tran Quang Dieu Street, Mr. K. did not import too many goods this time. "The whole year's situation is quite gloomy, maybe because people are tightening their belts, clothes become secondary. Even last summer, we imported beachwear but the sales situation was not very good," he added.
