Forbes Asia has announced its 2025 "30 Under 30 Asia" list - a ranking honoring 300 individuals under 30 years old from across the continent, with outstanding achievements in various fields. There are 2 Vietnamese people on the list in two different categories.
Jenny Huynh became the youngest Vietnamese person ever to be honored in this ranking at the ag.e of 19. Her creative style is considered to vividly reflect the life of a Gen Z studying abroad.
Besides the media field, this year's Social Impact category also has the participation of a Vietnamese - Le Hung Nguyen, 27 years old, founder of PISE (Projects Incubation for Social Entrepreneurs), operating in Ho Chi Minh City since 2018.
PISE aims to support young people in small towns in Vietnam in developing and implementing social projects that address local issues. The organization provides mentoring, training and summer camps to help students turn their ideas into reality. To date, more than 50 projects have been supported through PISE, positively impacting over 2,500 people.
Some of the organization's notable initiatives include DAM - a project to raise awareness of school violenc.e through social media, and Plastico - a program to educate students about reducing plastic use in their daily lives.
Forbes has rated him as one of the individuals with profound and practical influence in promoting sustainable social change in Vietnam. Unlike Jenny Huynhâs prominent presence on the internet, Le Hung Nguyenâs journey is marked by persistent efforts in community work.
Before Hung, Tran Tuan Minh - founder of UpYouth - was also in the same category of last year's list (alongside prominent Vietnamese representatives such as designer Phan Dang Hoang, YouTuber Dong Van Hung or mathematics researcher Pham Tuan Huy.)

His father also collects domestic and foreign math books so that his son can learn more types of math. According to friends and teachers, Le Hung Viet Bao's strength is number theory and always discovering new ways to solve problems. Although he has an outstanding talent in math, he still studies well in all subjects, is a comprehensive gifted student with a total score of over 9.0.
