Thanh Thao is a female singer who is no stranger to 8x and 9x audiences. Throughout her singing career, in addition to her sister's love scandal with Ngo Kien Huy, Thanh Thao also got involved in a scandal with former model Thuy Vinh.

Recently, singer Thanh Thao had a short trip back to Vietnam. On this occasion, she worked with a lawyer and announced that she agreed to withdraw the lawsuit against former model Thuy Vinh after 13 years of dispute with Music Box Company.

Sharing with the media on the evening of November 18, the female singer said that the 13-year dispute and lawsuit have made her tired. Currently, Thanh Thao wants to close the matter and settle it with Thuy Vinh.

"In 2007, I established Music Box Company, invited Thuy Vinh to work with me, and divided the shares into 40%. But after that, I lost all my titles and legal rights, and was only a contributing shareholder.

Thuy Vinh's actions made me disappointed and lose trust. I lost my property and my phone SIM card that I had been with for many years. I don't understand why he treated me like that," Thanh Thao summarized the conflict between her and Thuy Vinh.

Thanh Thao said that initially when the dispute occurred, she proposed two options: if Thuy Vinh kept the company, she would compensate Thanh Thao, otherwise, she would dissolve the company and pay full taxes to the State.

However, over the past 13 years, the case has dragged on because Thuy Vinh is the person who keeps the company seal but Thanh Thao has not been able to contact Thuy Vinh directly. According to Thanh Thao, later, Thuy Vinh also dragged her into the company's debts.

"Thuy Vinh refuses to go to court and cooperate, so I can't do anything. Honestly, I don't want to sue or win or lose. I know that even if I sue, it will still end there.

Now, for me, family, children, and health are the most important things. I said that I am ready to give Thuy Vinh everything, as long as Thuy Vinh dissolves the company, so that I am no longer involved or responsible," Thanh Thao said.

Recently, the singer of "Bup Be Biet Yeu" talked with her lawyer and decided to send a written notice to Thuy Vinh about agreeing to withdraw the lawsuit on the condition that within 30 days, Thuy Vinh must contact Thanh Thao's representative.

The female singer believes that Thuy Vinh is holding the seal and documents, so she needs to be responsible for the tax debts of Music Box Company. Thanh Thao asked Thuy Vinh to coordinate in resolving issues regarding assets and financial obligations, and to hold a meeting of the board of members to carry out procedures to dissolve or declare bankruptcy of the company.

In addition, in the document sent to Thuy Vinh, Thanh Thao stated that Thuy Vinh needs to cooperate to return the amount of 320 million VND that Thuy Vinh received from the illegal transfer of company assets.

"Today, I told my lawyer that I want to stop fighting. I want to withdraw the lawsuit, I want to give Thuy Vinh a way to live, a chance to develop in her career. But I hope Thuy Vinh will treat me kindly.

I am the one who suffered a loss, losing my property, but that loss is not worth it because I consider it a good deed. After all, she is my friend. I declare that I will forgive Thuy Vinh and hope she will return the money to the company," Thanh Thao shared.

Thuy Vinh has not yet given an official response to the incident.

At the end of July 2024, sharing with Dan Tri newspaper, Thuy Vinh said: "Music Box Company went bankrupt more than ten years ago. At that time, who suffered the most losses was me, Thanh Thao, and all the singers and employees in the company. I don't want to mention the past because it's useless. I consider it tuition, the most valuable and expensive business lesson I've ever experienced."

The former athlete said the dispute had lasted for years, causing fatigue for both insiders and spectators.

"If Thanh Thao returns to Vietnam this time and truly wants to end the dispute, I also really hope that this can end after the reconciliation between the lawyers representing both sides.
