Through social relationships, H. knew Phan Cong Khanh, so he asked Khanh to help sell the car above. In March 2023, Khanh told Ms. H. if she wanted to sell the car, she would bring the car to Khanh's showroom because a customer wanted to buy a car, then Ms. H agreed.

Around 3pm on March 9, Khanh said staff went to Ms. H.'s house to take a MCLAREN car and run it to Khanh's K Super showroom (at Pham Ngu Lao ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) for Khanh to help sell. .

According to PLO, at this time, Ms. H. only delivered the car without handing over the vehicle documents to Khanh. On May 23, due to needing money to pay the debt and to redeem the Mercedes G63 that Khanh had previously pledged, this giant lied to Ms. H. giving the MCLAEN documents to customers to see.

However, in fact, no customers came to the Showroom to see and buy MCLAEN cars. "I did this to get the original car papers so that I could borrow money," Khanh said.

Believing Khanh's words, on the afternoon of May 23, Ms. H. went to the Showroom to give Khanh the original vehicle registration certificate and registration certificate.

Around 3pm on the same day, Khanh gave this car and all the vehicle documents to Mohamach Da Pha (27 years old, living in An Giang, a collaborator in Khanh's Showroom) to take.

Accordingly, Mohamach Da Pha phoned Dang Minh H. (32 years old, living in Binh Tan district) to mortgage the MCLAREN and borrow two billion dong. Police determined, Pha knew Khanh was lying but still followed.

After that, Ms. H. repeatedly texted Khanh asking Khanh to return the papers and car, but Khanh did not reply. Ms. H. went to K Super Showroom to find out that Khanh was in debt a lot, so she reported it to the police.

At the investigation agency, Khanh and Pha admitted their behavior. The police made an emergency arrest with Khanh and held criminal detention with Pha as well as taking statements, determining the roles of the people involved for handling.
