Streamer Nắng or Đàm Thanh Huyền, born in 1998, although still very young, has fought cancer twice. At the age of 11, Huyền was diagnosed with bone cancer and had to have one leg amputated. At the age of 11, Huyen discovered she had sarcoma, a malignant bone cancer. "At that time, I was studying for the entrance exam to a specialized secondary school. At first, the doctor diagnosed arthritis, but after many examinations, it was discovered that it was cancer. I had to amputate my left leg," Huyen recalled. After surgery, Huyen gradually recovered and returned to school. From a pretty, healthy girl, Huyen had to get used to losing a leg. At first, she was self-conscious and did not dare to talk to anyone even though her friends cared about her and asked about her. Later, when she got used to school and class, Huyen gradually opened her heart. Despite losing a part of her body, thanks to the love of her family, friends, and teachers, the 11-year-old girl still maintained an optimistic and cheerful spirit. She folded 1,000 paper cranes, wishing to live a long and healthy life.

In the following years, Huyen continued to go to the doctor regularly and showed no signs of relapse. Life seemed to smile on Huyen when she graduated from university with a major in graphic design and pursued her passion for content creation. Having worn a prosthetic leg since childhood, Huyen encountered almost no obstacles, she confidently wore suitable dresses to hide her defect, she also traveled, took many photos and made friends. The female streamer said that her followers on social networks did not know that she had a missing leg. In 2017, Huyen, 19 years old, came from Bac Ninh to Hanoi to work as a graphic designer at a game company, while Hai was an IT employee there. At a company birthday party, they met by chance. Hai admitted that he fell in love with Huyen at first sight but did not dare to approach her because he was self-conscious about his salary at that time. As for Huyen, she completely ignored Hai. When she heard her colleagues tease that he liked her, Huyen just thought it was a joke. Because of her severe nearsightedness, she could not even remember Hai's face clearly. In early 2018, Huyen left the company, Hai also went abroad to work, and both thought they would never have a chance to meet again.

One day, Hai texted Huyen to hire her as a designer. After working together a few times, he confessed that he knew Huyen because he used to work for the same company. In 2020, when the Covid-19 pandemic broke out, Hai could not return to Vietnam as often as before, and the two stopped contacting each other. Hai later confessed that he chose to stay silent because he felt helpless: "Being close is not enough, let alone being far away." Even though they did not talk, he still secretly followed Huyen through social media. During that time, Huyen had a few short-lived relationships, but the hustle and bustle of work made it impossible for her to stay with anyone for long. In early 2023, Hai texted Huyen, informing her that he was preparing to return home for good and wanted to see her. At that time, Huyen had just had a biopsy and was waiting for the results of her lung cancer diagnosis. Knowing that the situation was not very optimistic, Huyen told Hai directly about her feelings and health.
