After the drama of confronting the 'boss' of Sung Bau vermicelli, the name of the man who expose.d the female tiktoker was suddenly sought after by netizens. Accordingly, his private life is completely opposite to the 'villain' role that people witnessed in the series of noisy scandals.
It is known that Mr. P. (Dien Bien) is not an ordinary vermicelli supplier, but this man has a famous startup story behind him. Mr. P. is the Director of a cooperative in Dien Bien, where the vermicelli produced by Sung Bau and his wife used to import goods.
According to information from the Tax Department's website, Mr. P's cooperative started operating in December 2013, and has been operating for more than 20 years. The address is located at Mr. P's private home. According to Kinh Doanh Electronic Magazine, Mr. P. is considered the pioneer in bringing cassia to alleviate poverty for people in many highland communes in Dien Bien. At the beginning of its establishment, the cooperative had only 7 members and a charter capital of 200 million VND. By 2023, the cooperative had 20 members and its charter capital increased to 5 billion VND.
Initially, the cooperative mainly purchased fresh arrowroot and sold it to traders, so it was dependent and had unstable income. Then, Mr. P. and his members invested more than 1 billion VND to build a line to process arrowroot starch into arrowroot vermicelli, creating a product with higher added value.
Currently, Mr. P's cooperative has developed in scale, with many separate cassava flour and cassava vermicelli production facilities. In 2023, the cooperative will purchase products for people in many highland communes of Dien Bien province with an output of over 3,000 tons of tubers/crop. The cooperative's cassava vermicelli products have also been awarded a 3-star OCOP product certificate by the People's Committee of Dien Bien province.
In addition to vermicelli, Mr. P. also developed macadamia trees on an area of over 30 hectares at the top of Tang Quai Pass. In 2022, his macadamia garden harvested over 10 tons of nuts, bringing in a revenue of over 2.5 billion VND. He also invested in goat farming, with a herd of over 300 goats, supplying the local market.
On social media, Mr. P.'s TikTok channel started posting videos on February 19, 2025. On May 18, Mr. P. first mentioned Sung Bau and from then on, many videos on the channel reached millions of views. The number of followers of this account also increased rapidly, with 37.7k followers recorded on the afternoon of May 25.
Regarding the incident with Sung Bau vermicelli, Mr. P. posted a clip accusing Sung Bau of "bombing" 20 tons of vermicelli, causing great damage to the cooperative. According to him, the facility had prepared raw materials, human resources, and produced goods according to Bau's order, but she did not receive the goods as promised.
However, Sung Bau denied the accusatio.n of purchasing or promising to buy 20 tons of vermicelli, only buying vermicelli from Mr. P's factory for a short time before Tet. She said the two sides only cooperated at the level of "ordering and receiving", not long-term commitment. Sung Bau also emphasized that her family had stopped importing goods from the cooperative a long time ago and was now producing vermicelli on their own.
Both of them continuously spoke up to correct the information and called on the online community to put their trust in their side. After Sung Bau announced "filing a lawsuit", the owner of Dien Bien vermicelli suddenly presented a series of evidences kept from 3 years ago, including handwritten pages that were assessed to be full of details and clear.
The clima.x of the incident was pushed when Sung Bau suddenly announced that she would ask the law to intervene to clarify everything. In the latest video, she expressed her deep gratitude to those who have believed in and supported her and her husband in the past time. She affirmed: " We live without conflicts, personal disputes and work in healthy competition, so we will not say anything more. All thanks to the authorities."
According to the content of the "criminal denunciation" she posted, Sung Bau accuse.d the owner of Dien Bien vermicelli of "defaming the honor, slandering, and defaming the honor and dignity of the Sung Bau Vermicelli brand on social networks".
This move initially received the approval of many netizens, many of whom thought it was a decisive step and demonstrated Sung Bau's professionalism in business.
However, less than an hour later, public opinion suddenly "turned around" when the owner of Dien Bien vermicelli publicly released a series of evidences to refute the information from Sung Bau. In a clip, Mr. P. affirmed: "He took my goods since 2022, when he started his business, the order was from 50kg at a time, and he didn't have mone.y to pay, so he had to owe for several months to pay. As for the information that he couldn't import at the price of 45, and only imported goods before Tet, I will provide evidence".
Accompanying the assertion is a series of specific evidences publicly posted by Mr. P.: from exchanged messages, transaction history, mone.y transfer invoices to the history of receiving goods between the two parties - all showing that the trading relationship between the vermicelli establishment and Sung Bau started in 2022, not just taking place during Tet 2024 as Sung Bau shared before.
At the end of the clip, the owner of the dong vermicelli shared: "I want to end the controversy here. Who is right or wrong, the audience will be the one to judge. From now on, I will only focus on production, ensuring to bring reputable products", and expressed hope to continue to receive support from consumers.
Notably, right after the owner of the vermicelli establishment released evidence to defend his words, Sung Bau's latest video had its comments section locked. This made many netizens even more skeptical and unable to hide their disappointment. On other social media platforms, a series of comments "turned around" and switched to supporting the owner of the vermicelli establishment. Many people said that Mr. P. maintained a calm, clear and transparent attitude throughout the argument, while Sung Bau's side showed signs of avoiding responding.
Previously, the boss of Sung Bau vermicelli was attacked by a man named P. (Dien Bien) who claimed to be the owner of a famous vermicelli factory in Dien Bien. When asked if the vermicelli he was selling was Sung Bau vermicelli, Mr. P. confidently replied, "My vermicelli is the vermicelli that is supplied to Sung Bau, so my vermicelli and Sung Bau's vermicelli are the same. Sung Bau is just an agent for my family."
Next, this man also publicly announced the selling price of his vermicelli at 45k, causing many people to flood Sung Bau's tiktok channel to attac.k her for selling at double the price, taking advantage of the trust of the online community to earn a large profit.
