Movie fans have just been "on the edge of their seats" with the news that "Squid Game" has revealed part 3. Many people humorously said that if every crew worked so productively, the "race track" would be very exciting.

At the For Your Consideration awards event to promote the upcoming season of "Squid Game" in Los Angeles, creator Hwang Dong-hyuk - who won an Emmy for directing "Squid Game" season 1 - "revealed" his vision for the final two seasons of this brand.

Accordingly, part 3 will be released in mid-2025 but the exact time has not been announced. The source added that part 2 as well as part 3 will be filmed simultaneously. With the estimated number of episodes for part 3 ranging from 7-8 before the actual number of episodes for part 2, it shows the complexity and predicts that many conflicts will be resolved by the end of the film.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Hwang Dong-hyuk said he obviously felt pressured by the success of the first part. The director revealed that he initially had no idea for the second part, but it finally came. He "revealed" that the last two parts will revolve around the character Go-hun and his journey to confront the game's operating system.

Regarding the process of coming up with the ending, the creator said: "When I thought about the idea for the ending of season 3, I thought this was a very natural ending. I believed that with that story, I could tell everything I wanted to tell through Squid Game and there would be no more parts."

Returning to the screen in season 3 will be familiar faces from previous seasons, including: Lee Jung Jae, Lee Byung, Wi Ha Joon and Gong Yoo. In addition, the cast has also been expanded with faces participating in season 2 such as: Park Gyu-young, Jo Yu-ri, Kang Ae-sim, Lee David, Lee Jin-uk, Choi Seung-hyun, Roh Jae-won and Won Ji-an, setting the stage for the final season.
