Rosé's recent sharing in an interview with Vogue surprised the audience when the female idol revealed that she had a "big quarrel" with Bruno Mars just before filming the MV " APT ".
On October 11, in an exclusive interview with Vogue magazine, BLACKPINK member Rosé suddenly shared an interesting behind-the-scenes story that caused a stir in the fan community. The Korean-born New Zealand singer revealed that she and Bruno Mars had "a pretty tense argument" just hours before they started filming the music video for the global hit "APT".
Rosé recounted this special moment in the "Rosé Answers Questions From Everywhere" column on Vogue's YouTube channel â where she comfortably answered a series of questions from fans everywhere. When asked to reveal "a little-known story" between her and Bruno Mars, the female idol did not hesitate to laugh: "I'm not sure if I should say this... but it's true that we had a big argument right before the filming of the APT MV. Fortunately, the two reconciled right on the set, so everything went smoothly."
With his usual humorous demeanor, Rosé also teased that Bruno Mars "must have gone mad" when he found out that she told this story publicly: "If he sees this video, he will be very angry with me! But come on, we're still best friends," she said with an adorable wind kiss towards the camera.
Although she did not reveal the specific cause of the quarrel, Rosé said the two quickly ignored the misunderstanding and focused back on work. The duo's chemistry was then evident in the first live performance of "APT", where the audience commented that "Rosé and Bruno Mars blend perfectly, transmitting explosive energy on stage".
In addition to the behind-the-scenes story with Bruno Mars, Rosé also makes viewers excited with many other interesting sharing. When asked about the "strangest rumor" she has ever heard about herself, the singer laughed: "Maybe it's a rumor that I used to have black hair. It sounds crazy because I've almost always been loyal to light-colored hair."
Rosé also shared about her musical inspiration, revealing that most of the songs she writes are rooted in incomplete emotional experiences: "I often draw inspiration from boys... especially bad boys," â she joked, making the audience laugh.
One of the most emotional moments of the conversation was when Rosé was asked, "If you could send a message to yourself at 18, what would you say?" She thought about it and replied sincerely: "I was quite stubborn and strong at that time. Now that I think about it, I still want to keep that spirit. I would say to myself, 'Keep doing what you believe in, and it will get you where you need to go.'"
At the end of the interview, Rosé also revealed that before becoming a singer, she dreamed of becoming an elementary art teacher â a simple dream that reflects the lightness and creativity in the female artist's soul.
Currently, Rosé and Bruno Mars are one of the most noticed duos in the international pop music industry. The combination in "APT" not only garnered hundreds of millions of views, but also proved the ability to reconcile the unique style between two artists from two different cultures.
Although there used to be a "small friction" behind the camera, the way they overcame and maintained their professional spirit made the public love it even more.
