The court sentenced Nguyen Phuong Hang to 2 years and 9 months in prison for "Abusing democratic freedoms to infringe upon the interests of the State and the legitimate rights and interests of organizations and individuals".

Mr. Dang Anh Quan (PhD in Law) was sentenced to 2 years and 6 months in prison. Nguyen Thi Mai Nhi (assistant to Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang), Le Thi Thu Ha (employee of Dai Nam Joint Stock Company), Huynh Cong Tan (head of communications department of Dai Nam Joint Stock Company) were all sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison, according to Tuoi Tre Online.

Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang was prosecuted and temporarily detained on March 24, 2022. Thus, if she has not been granted early release from prison, Ms. Hang will have to wait until the end of December 2024 to complete her 2-year and 9-month prison sentence.
