At the end of June, the last member of BTS will officially complete his military service. The news that BTS will be making a comeback has caused a global 'earthquake'. Before the strong rise of ARMY, the group's leader RM suddenly revealed the emergency.
Recently, BTS leader RM had a live stream with fans after being discharged from the military with V. During this livestream, he suddenly revealed his alarming mental health condition, especially his prolonged insomnia, causing the global ARMY community to worry.
According to the male idol, enlisting in the army was already a big challenge, but the most serious problem he faced was chronic insomnia. RM confided: "I've never had such a hard time sleeping. There was a time when I suffered from chronic insomnia." This situation, according to RM, occurred around April-May 2024 until now, coinciding with the time when the internal dispute between HYBE and Min Hee Jin was at its most intense.
"I took medication to get through it, but the side effects made it difficult for me to do my daily activities. Even though it's been over a year and two months, I still can't stop taking the medication. I think I'm getting better, but I'm still afraid to sleep," RM shared in a tired and worried tone. These words exposed a heartbreaking aspect of artists' mental health, when they have to endure pressure from many sides, including internal problems within their management companies.
The tense situation RM referred to is HYBE Groupâs biggest internal crisis to date. The company has accused ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin of deliberately trying to gain control of ADOR. The case has dragged on for months, causing a wave of fierce controversy in the entertainment industry and has now entered the litigation phase, with the first trial taking place on June 12 regarding a dispute over ownership of shares.
Obviously, these internal scandals have not only affected the company's business operations and image, but also directly and seriously impacted the mental health of the artists, especially pillars like BTS' RM. The fact that an artist has to take sleeping pills for a long time and still feels afraid of sleeping shows the severity of the problem he is facing.
RM's candid sharing made millions of fans feel deeply worried and sympathetic. They left thousands of comments encouraging the male artist, while expressing their outrage that the company's internal disputes seriously affected the mental health of the artists they loved.
ARMYâs concerns do not stop at RMâs personal health. With severe insomnia and a long-term dependence on sleeping pills, global fans are worried that he will not be able to fulfill his role as the groupâs leader as he once did. Many have also expressed their fear that RM may not be healthy enough to make the groupâs comeback as planned, or worse, not be able to participate in high-intensity performances in the future. This is a sad prospect for those who have been waiting for BTSâs reunion for a long time.
Fans are sending their sincere wishes and encouragement to RM to relax and put his health first. They hope he will take time to rest and seek the necessary support to feel most comfortable mentally and not worry too much about issues that are not within his scope. "As long as RM is healthy, that is the most important thing", is the general message that ARMY wants to send to their leader.
To date, 6 out of 7 BTS members have completed their military service. The last member - Suga - is expected to be discharged on June 21. Fans around the world are looking forward to the day BTS officially reunites after a long hiatus to serve in the military.
ILLIT was harmed by its "mother" NewJeans, fans also turned their backs, a chance for BABYMONSTER? Hoa Tuyết13:33:52 12/01/2025The innocent but most damaged person in the war between HYBE and Min Hee Jin is probably ILLIT. The group could barely raise their heads after their mother NewJeans caused a stir.
