I sincerely apologize for causing disappointment and discomfort to many people due to the phrase written on the hat I wore during the rehearsal. I deeply acknowledge that I lacked awareness in wearing something without fully acknowledging the historical and political significance of the phrase, and I take this matter seriously."
The incident occurred during a rehearsal for BTS member J-Hope 's concert, held the previous day at Goyang Stadium in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, where Jungkook appeared as a guest.

However, on the same day, Jungkook (BTS) encountered an incident when a woman tried to break into his house on the day he was discharged from the army. Korean media reported that a Chinese woman in her 30s was arrested by the police after trying to break into the house of BTS member Jungkook.
Police were called to Jungkook's home at around 11:20 p.m. on June 11 after the woman attempted to enter the front door passcode multiple times. The woman is currently being investigated for trespassing on Jungkook's property. She told police that she "wanted to see Jungkook after he was discharged from the military."
Meanwhile, two BTS members, Jimin and Jungkook, were discharged from the military on the morning of June 11. A large number of reporters and fans were present at the Yeoncheon Public Stadium in Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi Province (South Korea) to welcome the two BTS members.
Standing in front of the media after a long time, Jungkook expressed, "It's been a long time since I've been in front of the camera, and I didn't even wear makeup, so I didn't know what to say.
I want to thank my teammates and superiors who have been through so much with us. I am truly grateful that they have taken such good care of us."
Jimin also said that after experiencing it himself, he realized that the army is not an easy place. Jimin promised fans that BTS will prepare well and return with a full lineup soon.

On June 13-14, the annual event "BTS Festa 2025" will take place in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, commemorating the group's debut anniversary (June 13, 2013).
