Behind the Devil in the Colony is producer Nhat Trung - director of many famous movies such as Crab Again Pregnant Wif.e, Meet Pregnant Sister Again, 1990. The crew invested heavily in the production stage, helping the work look somewhat better than the general ground of Vietnamese films. The scenes create a gloomy and tense atmosphere, partly making the story more convincing.

The film hits the "body horror" element hard when the characters have hideous shapes, making viewers sit still. The characteristics of the intestine demon are also clearly described.
