Lisa is superior to the other 3 members of Blackpink, representing Kpop alone at the Oscars

Billboard reported that six powerful women - Doja Cat, Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Lisa ( Blackpink), Queen Latifah and Raye - will perform at the 2025 Oscars, held on March 2, at the Dolby Theater in Ovation Hollywood (USA).

The show will also feature a special appearance by the Los Angeles Master Chorale.

Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande are both nominated for an Oscar in 2025 for their roles in "Wicked." The singers and actresses are expected to open this year's Oscars with one or more songs from "Wicked," which received a total of 10 nominations before the ceremony.

The remaining four female singers are expected to participate in "performances honoring the filmmaking community and some of its legendary figures."

The 2025 Oscars, hosted by Conan O'Brien, will air live on ABC and the Hulu streaming service at 7 a.m. on March 3. The red carpet begins 30 minutes earlier.

According to the announcement from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the Oscars are not only an awar.d ceremony but also an opportunity to honor music and art. The presence of the Los Angeles Master Chorale promises to bring a solemn atmosphere and deep emotions.

The event, hosted by Conan O'Brien, will air live on ABC and Hulu at 4 p.m. ET on March 2, with the red carpet starting at 3:30 p.m. the same day.

What's special this year is that instead of having live performances from the artists nominated for best original song, the Organizing Committee chose to highlight personal sharing and behind-the-scenes perspectives from the creative teams behind these songs.

2025 promises to be a busy year for Lisa. After the release of her album "Alter Ego" in late February, Lisa took to the Oscar stage with Doja Cat and Raye in early March.

In April, Lisa and Jennie (Blackpink) will perform at the biggest music festival in the US - Coachella. Lisa will perform on April 11 and April 18, while Jennie will appear on two other days, April 13 and April 20.

Blackpink has been on the Coachella lineup twice, including as the main act in 2023. But this year, Lisa and Jennie will have their own solo stages.
