After the results of the investigation, the online community paid attention to 4 individuals who sent a petition to the authorities, informing them that they used Sisters Rot's vegetable candy products but did not affect their health and hoped to consider not handling Quang Linh's behavior.

The Investigating Police Agency of the Ministry of Public Security has just announced the conclusion of the investigation related to the case of "Kera vegetable candy" which was widely promoted on social networking platforms, with the participation of famous YouTuber Quang Linh Vlog and Miss Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien.

According to the results of the investigation, the investigation agency took the testimony of 22 customers in Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City, who bought a total of 107 candies with a total value of about 16 million VND. They said that vegetable candies are just similar to regular candies, with no added fiber or vitamins as mentioned. This group of customers asked the authorities to clarify, and at the same time asked Sister Rot Company to refund the money.

On April 3, 2025, after prosecuting the case, the Investigating Police Agency of the Ministry of Public Security posted a notice on the website of the Ministry of Public Security and press agencies to call on individuals and organizations who bought Kera candies to settle in accordance with the law.

Surprisingly, among them, there were 4 customers who submitted a letter affirming that they were not affected by their health, did not feel deceived and did not ask for a refund, and at the same time asked not to handle Quang Linh. In addition, 6 other individuals sent the product back by mail without a petition. These people are then reimbursed for their purchases.

According to the conclusion of the investigation, the idea of Kera vegetable candy was agreed to cooperate by Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien and the defendants in Sister Rot Group Joint Stock Company. However, because it has not yet been established, from November 2024, Ms. Rot has hired another unit to process candies, in order to launch on the sales livestreams of Hang Du Mu and Quang Linh with the participation of Thuy Tien.

Statistics show that related subjects have sold 129,617 boxes of candy to 56,385 customers, earning 17.5 billion VND. The inventory of 24,802 boxes has now been seized. However, the investigating agency concluded that due to the promotion and sale of candies showing signs of violating the law, these expenses were not validly calculated. Thus, the amount of illicit profits from the case was determined to be 12.4 billion VND.

Before getting into trouble, Quang Linh Vlogs was known as a prominent YouTuber with videos documenting life in Africa. Born in 1997 in Nghe An, Quang Linh went to Angola to work as a construction worker and opened an ice factory before becoming famous thanks to the YouTube channel "Quang Linh Vlogs". From 2024, he will begin to encroach on sales livestreams and build a personal brand.

However, after Quang Linh was arrested, the related jobs have changed a lot. The Kera candy case shows the danger of abusing personal influence to promote goods. Whether it is harmful to health or not, telling the truth and exaggerating the benefits has affected the interests of consumers, creating illicit profits of tens of billions of VND.

Currently, the case is still in the process of being handled. The authorities affirmed that they will continue to collect information from other customers, and at the same time consider the criminal liability of relevant individuals.
