The investigating agency has just announced a conclusion related to the case of Nguyen Thi Thai Hang (Hang Du Muc), Pham Quang Linh (Quang Linh Vlogs) and Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien (Miss International Peace 2021). This group was determined to have taken advantage of its reputation, committed fraudulent acts in promoting Kera vegetable candy products, making illicit profits of more than 12.4 billion VND.

According to the investigation documents, Sister Rot Group was established on November 5, 2024 with an initial registered charter capital of VND 5 billion, later increased to VND 15 billion but actually contributed VND 10 billion. The company is registered in many fields, from film production, video, TV shows to food trading.

Sister Rot Group has 6 founding shareholders, of which Le Tuan Linh registered to contribute 2.25 billion VND (actual contribution of 1.5 billion VND), Hang Du Muc registered to contribute 3.75 billion VND (actual contribution of 2.5 billion VND), Quang Linh Vlogs registered to contribute more than 2 billion VND (actual contribution of 1,367 billion VND), Le Thanh Cong registered to contribute 2.85 billion VND (actual contribution of 1.9 billion VND), assistant of Quang Linh Vlogs Tran Chi Tam registered to contribute and actually contributed by Quang Linh Vlogs, Pham Thi Nhat Le (sister of Quang Linh Vlogs) registered to contribute 2.49 billion VND (actual contribution of 1.366 billion VND).

The idea of producing food supplements "SuperGrees Gummies" (Kera candy) came from Thuy Tien and a group of shareholders. According to the agreement, Thuy Tien will hold 25% of the shares, the rest will be held by 6 shareholders of Ms. Rot. However, due to not being able to establish Kera Vietnam Company as expected, the group used the legal entity of Ms. Rot to sign a contract to hire Asia Life Company to produce Kera candy for more than 32,453 VND/box.

The product introduced is made from 10 types of natural vegetables, claiming outstanding uses. In fact, according to the assessment conclusion, the ingredients on the packaging are only less than 70%, the essence is ordinary candy mixed from vegetable powder and additives, not as advertised.

To create a spillover effect, the group of defendants took advantage of the influence of social networks, staged scripts, recorded videos, and livestreamed sales on TikTok. Hang Du Muc, Quang Linh Vlogs and Thuy Tien directly participated in the presentations, making consumers believe in the quality of the product.

The information "clean vegetable candies from 10 types of fruits" is actually exaggerated and false. Thanks to the beautiful image, persuasive words and popularity of the participants, Kera candy quickly sold well, bringing the group a illicit profit of 12.4 billion VND.

Among the shareholders, the investigating agency specifically mentioned Pham Thi Nhat Le. Although she contributed more than 1.36 billion VND (accounting for 13.66%), she did not participate in discussions or production decisions. Nhat Le only relies on product labels to introduce and sell through her personal TikTok. She sold 385 boxes, revenue of nearly 89 million VND and enjoyed more than 8.7 million VND in commission.

On August 25, 2025, with a sense of responsibility, Nhat Le voluntarily paid more than 367 million VND to overcome the consequences. The investigating agency assessed that she did not know the deceitful nature of the product, did not directly participate in fraudulent acts, so there were not enough grounds for criminal handling.

The investigation conclusion shows that the Kera candy case not only exposes the trick of taking advantage of the image of celebrities to do illicit business, but also a wake-up call about false advertising on social networks. Consumers need to be alert to "winged" introductions, and KOLs and artists need to consider their responsibilities when participating in commerce.
