Even at an early age, Ngoc Anh soon showed his musical talent. At the age of 13, Ngoc Anh started participating in the Children's Club where she lives. When she passed the children's class, at the age of 17, she participated in student art groups of Nguyen Thai Binh School. In 1986, it was an important milestone for singer Ngoc Anh. This was her first time singing on the professional music scene with the song "Spring on the Oil Wells". The voice she sang impressed the audience and the name Ngoc Anh was also more noticed. In 88, she was invited as an independent singer to perform in 5 Eastern European countries with the Saigon Light Music Troupe for 6 months. The singer revealed that at that time, she hardly wore a tunic or dress, but was attached to jeans and boots. The singer joked: "Choosing clothes like that, is also a way for me to keep gold."

The one-time queen of rock said that in those days, she often brought a lot of gold to tour. The secret to keeping her gold is to string and attach a tape needle, worn inside her belt. When musician Xuan Hong died, Ngoc Anh was present at the funeral as a relative. And at that time, musician Xuan Hong's son, who was stuck in the US, could not return, through the video of his father's funeral sent by his family, he was very impressed with a strange young girl sitting crying her father. After he died for a year, when he returned home he found the girl. From there, the 2 had a chance to meet and they got married. The queen of rock also shared the interesting detail that it was two days before her visa expired before she decided to follow her husband to the US. According to Ngoc Anh at that time, she did not want to go to the US because in Vietnam, Ngoc Anh had a career and an audience. But for the sake of her family's happiness, Ngoc Anh had to consider it before leaving.

When she first passed, she did not have relationships with shows and strange life much, Ngoc Anh went to voice Taiwanese and Hong Kong films, looking for small joys. Then began to be noticed by music centers.

Because her husband did not want children, Ngoc Anh divorced after 5 years of marriage. Ngoc Anh then married 1 construction contractor in Canada, originally from Can Tho, and gave birth to her first daughter. In her 2nd marriage, the singer was betrayed by her partner right after giving birth to her daughter Angela, causing her to lose faith and "disillusionment".
