In his compositions, musician Chu Minh always promotes the national spirit to make listeners more proud of their homeland and country. Musician Chu Minh was awarded the State Award in 2001 by the State of Vietnam, the Third-class Resistance Medal against the French, the Second-class Resistance Medal against the US, and the Second-class Labor Medal. In 2017, he was awarded the Ho Chi Minh Prize in the field of Literature and Arts.
