Ngoc Chau organizes Cosmo Camp workshop, beauty queens gather together to "polish rough gems"

Miss Cosmo Vietnam National Director - Ngoc Chau recently collaborated with Cosmo Academy - Academy of Skills and Thinking to launch the Cosmo Camp workshop series. The program is completely free of charge, with the first two sessions taking place on March 15-16.

With the mission of creating a useful program and a solid launching pad for talents who want to enter the entertainment industry and participate in beauty contests. Recently, Miss Cosmo Vietnam National Director - Ngoc Chau officially launched the Cosmo Camp workshop series. Here, young people have the opportunity to ask questions, listen to sharing from highly qualified guests and practice important skills to confidently shine in beauty contests.

Cosmo Camp is led by host Ngoc Chau, bringing together a guest list of famous beauty queens and runners-up along with experienced experts with practical experience in the fields of training, education, entertainment and beauty.

The Cosmo Camp workshop series has a total of 5 sessions, held completely free of charge, taking place every Saturday and Sunday at Cosmo Academy. The workshops include diverse topics such as: Catwalk and Stage Posing Skills, Communication and Smart Behavior Skills, Building Personal Image & Style, Emotion Management Skills in front of a crowd and in-depth talks from real-life sharing from Misses and Runners-up.

March 15th workshop on "Catwalk Skills and Posing on Stage"

Every step and posture is a non-verbal language, affirming one's own personality and style. Understanding its importance, the first session in the workshop series on March 15th had the theme "Catwalk Skills and Posing on Stage".

The workshop was led by a guest panel of experienced and highly specialized faces: Miss Universe Vietnam 2019 - Nguyen Tran Khanh Van and Choreographer Yu Tran, Miss Ngoc Chau played the role of host, leading and connecting the program's activities.

During the workshop, the guests not only shared their professional skills but also pointed out their own tips. For example, with Miss Universe Vietnam 2019 - Khanh Van, one of the secrets to keeping her eyes sharp when performing is... looking at someone handsome or pretty in the room or wearing contact lenses. In addition, using her favorite perfume is also a way for the beauty to be more confident and comfortable when appearing in front of a crowd, thereby liberating her body.

In addition, the guests also directly instructed the young people on important skills such as catwalking and posing in front of the camera - seemingly basic but extremely necessary factors for anyone who wants to work in the entertainment industry or conquer beauty contests.

March 16 workshop on "Smart Communication and Behavior Skills"

In addition to performance and posing skills, National Director Ngoc Chau also understands that presentation and eloquence skills as well as foreign language skills are among the factors that create the image of a beauty queen with charisma and intelligence. Therefore, the second workshop with the theme "Smart Communication and Behavior Skills" held on March 16 focused on practicing flexible communication, especially English reflexes for young people aiming for the beauty arena.

The workshop was attended by Miss Cosmo 2024 - Ketut Permata Juliastrid, 2nd Runner-up Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 - Huynh Pham Thuy Tien and Deputy Director of WESET English Center - Ms. Nguyen Dao Phuong Thuy and National Director of Miss Cosmo Vietnam - Ngoc Chau.

In beauty pageants, the closed interview round is an opportunity for the judges to get to know the contestants better. To impress, Miss Cosmo 2024 - Ketut Permata Juliastrid (Tata) shared her experiences from the beauty pageants she has participated in. When asked about her strengths, Tata replied that her greatest strength is her ability to adapt to any situation.

Having made a strong impression at Miss Universe Vietnam 2022, 2nd Runner-up Huynh Pham Thuy Tien believes that the way to make a deep impression on the judges is to share personal stories, things that have been and are being done to arouse curiosity and interest. She revealed that it was her journey to lose weight from 90kg that helped her become one of the outstanding contestants in that year's season.

With many years of experience in teaching and training applied English, Ms. Nguyen Dao Phuong Thuy from WESET English Center said that the ability to communicate in English is a great advantage in beauty contests. Therefore, contestants should practice foreign language skills early to improve their confidence and score points with the judges.
