NewJeans is on the rise, leaving ADOR, despite lawsuits, still on the cover

Fashion magazine Vogue Korea has just announced that 5 Kpop female idols Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, Hyein (members of the group NewJeans) will be the cover faces for the inaugural issue (January) of 2025.

In the first series of covers released, the girls show off two contrasting styles. The first is through a series of hanbok-inspired outfits, the second is modern, trendy outfits.

Recently, the inside photos of each member in Vogue magazine have spread on social networks. Among them, Danielle's appearance caused the biggest surprise.

She appeared with a short pixie haircut, while combining feminine dresses, creating a unique look. This is not the first time Danielle has had short hair, but this time, her hair length is the shortest. Many comments said that Danielle looks like a character from a Japanese comic.

Former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin was also mentioned, as she was the one who directed this pictorial. Viewers believe that Min Hee Jin's aesthetic and creativity are undeniable.

On her Instagram account, Danielle thanked Hanni for lending her the wig that Hanni used in the "Bubble Gum" music video. But fans speculated that Danielle was just joking, as her new hair is much shorter than Hanni's. Recently, according to Korean media, gir.l group NewJeans announced an appearance on CBS's "Kim Hyun Jung's News Show" without prior consultation with their management company, ADOR.

On December 24, Korean time, ADOR released a statement stating that the artists' appearances on the show were decided and arranged by themselves without any discussion with the company. ADOR was not informed about this in advance.

In response, ADOR filed a lawsuit to confirm the validity of the contract with the Seoul Central District Court.

In addition to their scheduled ADOR commitments, the group members have been working on independent projects. They recently created a new account called “jeanzforfree” to connect directly with fans.

The members also attracted attention when they appeared in a Vogue photoshoot directed by former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin. The photoshoot featured the members' real names instead of the group name NewJeans, which further increased the audience's interest.

According to Allkpop, on December 22, the members of the group NewJeans posted a message to their fans on their new social media account - jeanzforfree. In which, Minji's message attracted attention with the content: "Thank you Bunnies (NewJeans fan community) so much for cheering and staying with us until the end, even though today's recording was quite long and the weather was very cold.

Performances with the Bunnies are always memorable, but today felt like something special that I will remember forever. I am always grateful to the Bunnies. You are all so cute and warm."
