Recently, NewJeans announced the termination of its exclusive contract with ADOR. Talking about the reason for leaving ADOR, Minji said:

"While HYBE and ADOR claim to be separate entities, everyone knows that HYBE and ADOR are currently one. The ADOR we used to know is gone. Thus, the trust between ADOR and us has been completely broken. ADOR has neither the will nor the ability to protect NewJeans. We are pleased to announce that the exclusive contract between NewJeans and ADOR will terminate at midnight on the 29th."

Regarding speculations that NewJeans will have to compensate HYBE for unilaterally terminating the contract before the deadline, "pet" Min Hee Jin said that because the group has devoted themselves all this time, NewJeans will not pay any contract compensation fee. These shows are considered Japan's top 3 music shows, similar to major South Korean music shows, including Mnet. In these broadcasts, BABYMONSTER will sho.w off their ability to sing live songs from their recently released debut album "Drip".

BABYMONSTER's debut album has been successful not only in South Korea, but also in important Kpop markets such as Japan and North America.

In Japan, the group topped iTunes' "Top Albums Chart" and "Real-Time Top 100 Albums Chart" on Line Music, the country's largest streaming platform. In North America, the group has stayed atop the Billboard charts for three consecutive weeks.

From the beginning of next year, 2025, BABYMONSTER will embark on its first world tour "2025 BABYMONSTER 1st World Tour Hello Monsters In Seoul" on January 25 and 26, 2025 Korean time at Olympic Park KSPO Dome in Bangi-dong, Seoul.

This event marked a historic milestone when BABYMONSTER performed a concert at the KSPO Dome less than a year after its debut. Korean media commented that "it is rare for a rookie gir.l group to hold their first concert at such a large venue."
