"As the founder and national director of several international beauty pageants, I would like to announce that no Miss Mega Bintang Indonesia pageant will be held in 2025 and we will no longer hold any license to host any international beauty pageants until further notice," Ivan declared.

Mega Bintang Indonesia is a contest founded and organized by Mr. Ivan Gunawan, to find representatives to attend the Miss Grand International arena every year.

Sharing the reason behind this decision, he said: "This decision was made after careful consideration, without any external pressure. In the future, we will shift our focus to other areas."

Indonesia is an Asian country with impressive achievements in Miss Peace over the years. Reigning Miss Peace Indonesia 2024 Nova Liana won the 4th runner-up position at Miss International Peace 2024 held in Thailand.

"For personal reasons, I would like to withdraw from the Miss International Peace (MGI) organization. I am extremely disappointed with the way this organization treats us as a country director," said Amelia Vega.
