Soon after, Mr. Nawat unfollowed Thuy Tien's personal page. He also posted an article, saying that Thuy Tien was immature.

He further clarified: "The immaturity stems from the removal of the title on the personal page." In addition, he also said that "when removing the title, there are really a lot of problems".

His sharing caused mixed debates. Some people pointed out that it was unfair for Nawat to unfollow Thuy Tien, while she was not the first Miss Grand International to remove the title from her personal account after the end of her term.
