When the gas station staff pulled the barricade, they immediately flooded inside the painting to fill up.

As noted, this morning (October 11), many petrol and oil shops still have no stock, so they are temporarily "entrenched". Meanwhile, the stores that sell goods are seriously overloaded. The fact that people surrounded the gas station to pour caused chaos in many places, the staff of the gas station had to work at full capacity.

Meanwhile, to get gasoline, people also have to wait in line for 15-30 minutes to get their turn. Even, there are places where too many people come to pour, so the waiting time is longer. Because of impatience, many people choose to turn their cars home or run to another gas station to fill up.

Last night, even though it rained, from the afternoon to more than 22 o'clock at night, people in Ho Chi Minh City still went to fill up petrol. Due to insufficient supply and demand, gas stations were overloaded.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - General Director of Saigon East Petroleum Company Limited, which had a gas station that had to be temporarily closed on October 9, said that the supply of petrol was completely paralyzed.

He shared with Zing: "We import goods from Petrolimex, but now this supplier reports that the delivery limit is exceeded and the delivery date is not scheduled. By this morning (October 11), the company's gas stations were almost out of stock. clean gasoline and oil".

Mr. Tung said this is the first time he has witnessed such a serious situation of petroleum depletion. Not to mention the very low discount, causing the business to lose 2,000 VND/liter from the beginning of the year until now. "In a few days, there won't be any petrol to sell. We can't take it," he lamented.

According to this business owner, the most important thing for retail stores is supply and discounts. Only when these two problems are stable will all gas stations operate normally.

It is known that although the Ministry of Industry and Trade has directed large enterprises to supplement and share sources of goods with other retailers and distributors, the situation of running out of petrol and oil is still becoming more and more serious, especially in the provinces. gas stations of small private enterprises.

According to a focal enterprise in the south, the supply situation in this area is difficult in part because of the decision to withdraw the license to import petroleum from 7 focal units from mid-July. Worth mentioning, these focal enterprises mainly concentrated in the southern region.

In fact, at present, in the petroleum agent system in Vietnam, buying and selling not tied to a single supplier is very popular. Enterprises that have a high source of goods and discounts will import at that unit, buy and sell gasoline that does not comply with the contract.

Faced with the above situation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has been proposing the Ministry of Finance to reduce taxes related to petroleum products (value-added tax, special consumption tax); at the same time, soon review and send a notice to apply the cost of bringing domestic gasoline to the port and the domestic premium according to the level appropriate to the reality arising in the past time to ensure the correctness and completeness in the base price. petrol station according to current regulations to encourage businesses to increase their import volume, to ensure a stable supply of petroleum to the market.

The ministry will coordinate with the People's Committees of the provinces and cities (the focal point is the Department of Industry and Trade) to direct the petroleum trading enterprises in the area to have a plan to ensure the supply of petroleum...

The Ministry of Industry and Trade also proposed a solution to coordinate with the Ministry of Finance, regulate gasoline prices in close contact with world petroleum price movements, in line with domestic petroleum supply and demand movements to ensure harmonization of interests between different countries. participants in the petroleum market, encouraging businesses to maintain supply and limiting acts of speculation or smuggling of petroleum across borders to neighboring countries.

At the same time, it has directed key traders and distributors to assist in coordinating the source of goods and increasing the supply of petrol and oil in some localities where there is a local shortage of petrol.
