Recently, Quang Linh has also been "paired" with a Laotian hot girl named Maysaa (born in 2001), who is an international student in Vietnam. Maysaa's Vietnamese speaking ability is very good, so she left a good impression on the online community.
When he returned to Vietnam, Quang Linh had a trip to Laos. He and Maysaa also had many opportunities to meet, he also went to Maysaa's house to eat and was "shipped". Later, when Quang Linh left Laos to return to Vietnam, went to Angola, the online community began to suspect that the two were dating because of a series of hints.
Specifically, Quang Linh said that he will return to Vietnam next November. Immediately, "internet detectives" discovered that that time was also Maysaa's birthday. Or in a livestream, people also thought that Loi Con also said something related to Maysaa: "call Maysaa".
The online community also found out that Quang Linh liked many photos of Maysaa. People also think that the two are a perfect match, Quang Linh is talented and so is Maysaa. However, everything is still just a suspicion and we still have to wait and see what the future holds.
It is known that Maysaa's real name is Maysa Phanthaboouasy (born in 2001), her Vietnamese name is May, born and raised in Laos, currently an international student, living in Vietnam for 5 years. May's TikTok channel (@maysaa.ptbs) attracts 961 thousand followers and 20 million likes thanks to interesting clips about Vietnamese and Lao culture through the perspective of an international student.
Before becoming an international student in Vietnam, May received scholarships from many famous universities in the US, Singapore, Hungary... But she gave up everything to come to Vietnam with a full scholarship, after winning second prize in the provincial ASEAN Quiz. During her 5 years of studying in Vietnam, May was ranked in the top 3 students with the highest scores in the class and was a 5-good student of Ha Long University of Industry.
Having received scholarships from many prestigious universities, when coming to Vietnam, May still realized that "storms are not as bad as Vietnamese grammar". May shared: "It must be admitted that Vietnamese is very difficult. If I didn't really love it and spend time interacting with Vietnamese people, I probably wouldn't be able to speak Vietnamese fluently."
May once made short clips about things she could not have imagined in her first days of learning Vietnamese. May's interesting clips received more than 1 million views, making even native speakers secretly acknowledge the "trickiness" of Vietnamese.
Like many other international students, May's journey to study in Vietnam was not easy. The differences in culture, cuisine and lifestyle between the two countries made it take her a long time to adapt. In the first year, when she did not fully understand Vietnamese, May encountered many difficulties. She went to school but could not keep up with or understand everything the teachers were teaching.
The 5 years of studying in Vietnam was a long journey, every day May tried to communicate and listen more to improve her Vietnamese. And now May can confidently communicate and record clips entirely in Vietnamese on her personal page. Even with abbreviated messages, May still translates well.
While studying, May often shares interesting things she feels when living in Vietnam with Lao youth, and introduces the unique culture of Lao people to Vietnam as well as many other countries.
May does not hesitate to hang out at sidewalk restaurants to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine, and visit many places in the S-shaped country. May shared that before coming to Vietnam to study, she learned about and loved Vietnamese history and culture. That is why she chose to study in Vietnam instead of going to the US, Singapore, Hungary...
Not introducing famous tourist destinations in Vietnam, May shared clips when visiting historical sites such as: Temple of Literature, Hoa Lo Prison, Long Bien Bridge, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum... And wished to visit Nghe An one day, to visit Uncle Ho's hometown.
Talking about Vietnamese cuisine, when she first arrived, May had to eat instant noodles for a long time because she did not like the taste of Vietnamese dishes. Lao people eat very spicy, salty and spicy food, which is also the reason why she lost a lot of weight in the beginning of her stay in Vietnam. Gradually, when interacting with Vietnamese friends, she also had the opportunity to learn more about the culture, language and enjoy Vietnamese dishes.
"The food that May likes the most is Vietnamese pho and seafood. Luckily, May studies in Quang Ninh so she has the opportunity to eat many different types of seafood" - May shared.
From a random clip recorded on social networks, May began to attract more attention from people. May focused on creating content to explore Vietnamese - Lao culture and the connection between the two countries. From daily activities and communication with friends in Vietnam, May had more ideas to build her personal page. Vietnamese - Lao culture was introduced by May with a "lo lo" Vietnamese tone, gradually people knew and loved May more.
May shared that after finishing her studies, she wanted to continue staying to experience more about the people, culture and wanted to understand more about the history of Vietnam.
