During his time as an apprentice at the television station, Manh Cuong was given the opportunity to appear in many different roles. From musical theater to appearing in television dramas. Cuong seemed to have experienced it all.

About a year after being admitted to the first course - TV actor, he dared to try again with his childhood passion. Accordingly, he registered for the Vocal Music Department at Hanoi College of Arts. Specifically, when the actor took part in a singing competition, he failed because he did not practice enough. So Cuong was advised by the admissions officer that year to study acting because of his physical advantages. And so the acting career officially became his career from that time.

Later on, Cuong was always given the opportunity by his teachers to appear in television roles of VTV. With the advantage of being handsome, it was not difficult to see his image in supporting roles that had little depth.

He has had roles in many notable films, but he was not given many regular opportunities to play the main role. For example, in the TV series "Dry Storm", "Close Your Eyes and Wait for Tomorrow" or "Love and Ambition",... During this period, he also had the opportunity to appear in small roles in Tet comedies such as "Village of Singles" or "Barefoot Tycoon".

It was not until more than 10 years later that Cuong's name was noticed by television audiences. Through that, he was given the villain role "Vy" in the movie "Huong Duong Nguoc Nang". When coming to the character "Vy", he transformed into the character extremely excellently.

It can be said that at that time, the movie Huong Duong Nguoc Nang, although gathering many famous actors, but with just a supporting villain role, Manh Cuong attracted attention. It is known that he had to go through extremely "difficult" days when he received countless criticisms for playing the villain role too well.

With his influence, Manh Cuong later won the Silver Medal at the National Television Festival Awards Ceremony. This can be seen as another turning point for the monkey, with just a small villain role, he became a Star in one step.

Currently, I feel like I have shown 80% of what I wanted when building and expressing this character" - Manh Cuong shared.
