For 18 years, he only dedicated himself to nurturing his seriously ill mother without any activities with movies. He once confided: "After 18 years of taking care of my mother's accident, I have realized that all money fame is ephemeral."

When his mother died in 2007, Hoang Phuc thought, the road back to acting might be far away. But like fate, the acting profession found Hoang Phuc full of surprises and brought him back to the screen with a completely different image. A series of villainous, action roles in films such as Dragon Trap, Journalism, Married Now Lest You Miss, Let Tomorrow Count 2,... has once again brought the name Hoang Phuc closer to the audience.

Although he did not go through professional acting school, in his career, artist Hoang Phuc made the audience admire many times with his impressive performances. From the lead to the villain or the roles with austere fates did not make it difficult for him. In 2008, director Le Thanh Son found actors for the film project Dragon Trap. The crew needed an actor to play the Black Dragon boss. When Hoang Phuc debuted the production crew, everyone said, he looked too gentle, not suitable for the villain. Thanks to the director's human eye, Hoang Phuc was assigned to the role of Black Dragon, starring alongside Ngo Thanh Van and Johnny Tri Nguyen.

After the role of Black Dragon, Huang Fu was offered a series of villain roles, including the villain role in the movie Dust of the Big Market Life, and most recently the villain role in the movie Ghost Apartment.

Going through hard times to realize that fame and money are just ephemeral, Hoang Phuc said that now in his heart, only love and passion for cinema remain. "There was a time when I was young, I came to cinema looking for fame and money. Not now. In my heart only passion remained. When the purpose is different, the way of working is also different. I choose the role more carefully, and hope the role will leave an impression on the audience."

But, how to act so as not to be duplicated, acting must be quality for each character and it is impossible for all characters to be the same. Therefore, when I received the script, I had to study very carefully, build a specific visual profile for the character, so that I could moderate, moderate the level, and to have unique marks for each character."

In terms of personal life, Hoang Phuc married quite late to businessman Uyen Phuong and had his first child in his 50s. In 2015, actor Hoang Phuc married the beautiful businesswoman Uyen Phuong. After some time, the actor happily welcomed his first daughter. He named her Happy in the hope that her life would always be lucky.
