Specifically, Ngoc Trinh's case belongs to: Persons entitled to deferred sentence of imprisonment, persons temporarily suspended from serving prison sentences, persons released from prison before the conditional term during the probation period, persons entitled to suspended sentences during the probation period, persons serving non-custodial rehabilitation sentences during the period of serving sentences in accordance with the Law on Enforcement criminal execution.

For the fact that the beneficiary of the suspended sentence can leave the place of residence, the lawyer informed, the person receiving the suspended sentence can still leave the residence, but must declare the absence.

At the same time, the following conditions should be met:

- There must be a good reason;

- An application for permission and consent of the commune-level People's Committee or military unit assigned to supervise and educate must be obtained.

- Upon expiry of the temporary stay period, the accommodation must be certified by the commune-level People's Committee or the commune-level Police of the place of temporary residence or accommodation.

- The period of absence from the place of residence shall not exceed 60 days at a time, and the total period of absence from the residence shall not exceed one-third of the probation period.
