On the evening of September 20, the Police Investigation Agency and Lam Dong Provincial Police just prosecuted and arrested Pham Thi Minh Phi (37 years old, Da Lat City) for fraudulent appropriation of property. According to information provided by authorities in Tuoi Tre newspaper, Ms. Phi is the owner of a spa facility and also won the title of Miss Volunteer at the Miss Vietnam Entrepreneur 2022 contest.

To date, about 4-5 people have filed complaints against Pham Thi Minh Phi to Lam Dong Provincial Police.

Lam Dong Provincial Police informed that in February 2022, Ms. Phi learned about 2 plots of land in Cong Troi village (Me Linh commune, Lam Ha district, Lam Dong province). By the end of October 2022, while Ms. Phi needed money to pay off her debt, a man named NND contacted her and wanted to contribute capital to do business together, so she had the idea to give false information about the land. belt to get money from Mr. D..

On October 31, 2022, Ms. Phi informed Mr. D that she had bought 2 plots of land for 22 billion VND and had found a buyer for 23.6 billion VND, a difference of 1.6 billion VND. Ms. Phi sent pictures of the original red books of the two plots of land to gain Mr. D's trust. Mr. D. and his wife then decided to contribute 1.8 billion VND. Because of trust, the two did not go to see the actual land or check legal information. After that, this beauty queen forged many documents and contracts so that Mr. D. would believe they were real and receive money.

However, after receiving 1.8 billion VND, Ms. Phi did not use it as a deposit to buy land as promised, but used it to repay other people's debts.

The case is being investigated, clarified and handled by the PC01 Department according to the law. Whoever is the victim of defendant Phi should soon contact the Lam Dong Police Investigation Agency for resolution.

According to Lam Dong Provincial Police, not only Mr. D., there are many people accusing Pham Thi Minh Phi of fraudulent content. Authorities are calling on other victims to contact for resolution.
