Artists unanimously speak up to defend Hong Van, Ms. Phuong Hang's side steps in

Recently, a behind-the-scenes clip of Hong Van complaining about the pressure of having to wear an expensive ring while filming a movie went viral on social media. When a famous tiktoker called out her name, the female artist spoke up.

Specifically, a TikToker posted a clip discussing that artist Hong Van intentionally "teases" a female tycoon who just put up a 1,000 billion diamond ring for charity. This person also sarcastically said that because artist Hong Van and the female tycoon had also had a scandal, they now used this as an excuse to respond like that.

Regarding this incident, artist Hong Van spoke up to clarify. The actress said that the film had finished filming since May 2024, the behind-the-scenes clip of the photo shoot was filmed in August 2024, not recently. Regarding showing off the expensive ring, artist Hong Van shared: "My son, this is my role in the film "The Rich Bride" which is being shown nationwide starting today... This ring was made by the producer for me to wear while filming, my son. During this part, during my lunch break, I confided to my friends in the crew that I was under a lot of pressure to keep it, that's all, why did you scold me so harshly? I feel sorry for her."

Below Hong Van's post, many Vietnamese stars such as Oc Thanh Van, Viet Anh, Pha Le, Van Dung, Vu Ngoc Dang... expressed confusion and then expressed anger because their colleague was insulted.

Le Giang - who starred in the movie Co Dau Hao Mon with artist Hong Van also spoke up: "Poor my sister, this is a movie that was filmed a long time ago. She was filming a movie about a rich family, all the actors' costumes and jewelry were provided by the producer, so miserable. I feel so sorry for her."

Artist Hong Van once shared behind the scenes: "In this film, my role is one of two wealthy families competing with each other. My family competes with Thu Trang's family, another wealthy family. Therefore, my stuff cannot lose to that side. For example, the ring I'm wearing on my hand right now."

After Hong Van and a series of artists spoke up, the tiktoker who had criticized Hong Van continued to post. This person criticized People's Artist Hong Van for being petty and competitive, reminding Hong Van to be careful in every statement because of the title of People's Artist and to set an example for future generations.

This TikToker even commented that the chaos in showbiz is partly due to Hong Van's actions.
