Do My Linh talks about Mai Phuong's chance to win the crown: Use 1 word to describe juniors

Earlier, runner-up Che Nguyen Quynh Chau also wrote a letter to comfort Mai Phuong when representing Vietnam repeatedly failed in the Miss World 2024 sub-competition. "I think Miss World is not a place to compete for awards or positions. International competitions are a place for your country to see how good and beautiful Vietnam is. Vietnamese representatives have never been pressured for achievements, just glorify Vietnamese people with your level, how you behave with your examinees, and the serious attitude of a candidate. And with all those desires, Mai Phuong is doing better than good words," Lam Dong's long-legged hometown shared on her personal page.

Ms. Pham Kim Dung - Country Director of Miss World in Vietnam also spoke when witnessing the "steed" continuously "falling off the horse" at this contest.

Ms. Pham Kim Dung said that she was not sad or disappointed about Mai Phuong's failure to achieve in the extra rounds. Even the female CEO sent moral encouragement to Vietnamese representatives: "In the past days, Mai Phuong and other contestants have completed some sub-sections, the final tops of each section have been named. We understand people have high expectations and so do I, we have a strong representation, which doesn't mean your countries aren't. The contestants are all very beautiful and talented, I think everyone watching can see that just like us. When I interacted with your country's country directors, I heard a lot about their careful investment in representing that country at the competition."

In addition, the "Miss tycoon" also added that when sending representatives to any beauty arena, she and her team always believe in the fairness and decision of the organizers of that contest. Commenting on Mai Phuong's performance, Ms. Pham Kim Dung shared: "Our representatives have made great efforts, friendly, kept an optimistic spirit, focused on the contest, and we understand that Vietnamese beauty fans when supporting Mai Phuong, supporting Miss World are also very enthusiastic. I hope the whole family always keeps the positive energy and performance so far to cheer our representatives on in the next journey."

Personally, Mai Phuong, before the current "underdog" performance, she still retains positive energy to prepare for the upcoming exams, especially closed interviews. "I am happy to be watched and supported by the Vietnamese audience. Although I did not enter the Top 5 in Asia, I still kept my energy and was ready for the next competition. I find myself learning and growing much with each section. What I am most proud of is being able to showcase designs from Vietnam to send to a global audience," Mai Phuong shared.

It is known that the final of Miss World 2024 - the 71st Miss World will be held on March 9 in India. 112 contestants will compete to succeed incumbent Miss Karolina Bielawska.
