On the evening of February 16, Miss Mai Phuong officially left for India to represent Vietnamese beauty to attend one of the largest beauty arenas in the world - Miss World - Miss World.

It is known that in this contest, Miss Mai Phuong brought 140 kg of luggage with more than 30 carefully prepared outfits. In addition, Ms. Pham Kim Dung and her team also prepared Vietnamese food for Mai Phuong when taking the exam in India.

Sending the queen abroad were Mai Phuong's mother, Mrs. Pham Kim Dung and the flowers and runners-up such as Bao Ngoc, Phuong Anh, Ngoc Hang. In addition, despite being abroad, Miss Y Nhi still called to congratulate and cheer the seniors to have the expected achievements at the 71st Miss World contest.

The beauty wore a stylized white jumpsuit, with an elegant waist detail that matched the previous poster posted on the beauty's fanpage.

Before going to the airport, the queen's outfit received a lot of controversy because people misunderstood it as a baggy dress. Many viewers think that this outfit makes Miss World Vietnam 2022 look like there is "good news", swallowing the figure completely.

However, because at the time of the photoshoot, Mai Phuong posed without revealing the jumpsuit inside, the jumpsuit was hidden by the "fairy wing", so the outfit looked completely different from the outside. When the long-legged born in 1999 arrived at the airport, many people were "broken" and clearly saw the design of the queen.
During the two-year wait, the beauty audience rejoiced when Mai Phuong was officially given the international competition. Recently, Mai Phuong has been extremely busy when she has to constantly practice skills such as interview skills, catwalk, talent, dancing ... In terms of skills, I am still trying to improve every day, but for self-assessment and evaluation, I think there is no such thing as superiority. But I'm keeping things stable."

Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong was born in 1999, from Dong Nai. She was in the Top 5 of Miss Vietnam 2020 with the sub-award "Compassionate Beauty". In 2022, she continued to achieve the achievement of "Talented Beauty" and was crowned Miss World Vietnam 2022.

There is no height advantage (1.7 m) but in return she possesses a sharp face, good eloquence and modern thinking. In addition to her delicate beauty, Mai Phuong possesses the ability to speak fluently and skillfully with IELTS 8.0.

The 71st Miss World pageant takes place in India from February 18 and the final is scheduled to be held on March 9.

According to President Julia Morley, the activities in the competition will be very rigorous, including talent competition, sports challenges and charity initiatives.

Previously, the competition was scheduled to be held in the UAE (United Arab Emirates) in May 2023. However, due to some hiccups, the plan was changed.

Miss World is one of the two biggest beauty pageants on the planet. Founded in 1951, the contest aims to find girls with compassionate beauty and spread positive things to the community. According to Missosology, since November 2022, British entrepreneur Dipendra Gurung co-owns the Miss World organization with Julia Morley.
