Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong was born in 1999, from Dong Nai. She was in the Top 5 of Miss Vietnam 2020 with the sub-award "Compassionate Beauty". In 2022, she continued to achieve the achievement of "Talented Beauty" and was crowned Miss World Vietnam 2022.

There is no height advantage (1.7 m) but in return she possesses a sharp face, good eloquence and modern thinking. In addition to her delicate beauty, Mai Phuong possesses the ability to speak fluently and skillfully with IELTS 8.0.

The 71st Miss World pageant takes place in India from February 18 and the final is scheduled to be held on March 9.

According to President Julia Morley, the activities in the competition will be very rigorous, including talent competition, sports challenges and charity initiatives.

Previously, the competition was scheduled to be held in the UAE (United Arab Emirates) in May 2023. However, due to some hiccups, the plan was changed.

Miss World is one of the two biggest beauty pageants on the planet. Founded in 1951, the contest aims to find girls with compassionate beauty and spread positive things to the community.
