Miss Mai Phuong and a cast of contestants from all over the world will start arriving in India on February 18, 2024 and the final of Miss World is scheduled for April 9.

Before officially coming to India to participate in the 71st Miss World "race", Miss Mai Phuong suddenly received "good news" when she was predicted by beauty website Pageanthology to be in the Top 12 overall.

According to this beauty pageant, the 5 most prominent beauties at the Miss World 2023 pageant are respectively representatives: Turkey; Trinidad & Tobago; Thailand; Ivory Coast and the Czech Republic. Currently, Miss Mai Phuong is actively training and preparing before leaving to participate in the Miss World pageant held in India.

Miss Mai Phuong said: "I am constantly training and improving because my schedule is quite tight when balancing between going to school every night and attending skills training courses to complement this important competition. I'm glad I'm so busy!"

Talking about the difficulty when the competition is constantly rescheduled, Mai Phuong said that she and her team are quite nervous but still optimistic because they know what they are doing, it is important to keep themselves in a good spirit.

I just hope to stay in good health and eat hard, try to stick to the contest organizers. I have a backup plan, my team has prepared to pack a lot of snacks for me if I can't eat Indian food. Through India, I want to try food and culture. However, to prepare for the long haul, my team has prepared very well."

Earlier, according to Ms. Pham Kim Dung - President of Miss World Vietnam, Miss Mai Phuong will perform the famous dance from the song "See love" at the "Dance of the World" contest within the framework of the Miss World contest.

Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong (born 1999) was crowned Miss World Vietnam 2022.
