Diep Tieu Vy: "Brother" Dang Vi, acted in movies for nearly a decade with only obscure supporting roles

Diep Tieu Vy has been active in the arts for many years, but only recently has he been noticed. The role of Do Son Hau in "Truong Tuong Tu" has brought his name closer to the audience.

Diep Tieu Vy was born on February 5, 1997 in Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, China, graduated from the Central Academy of Drama. In 2015, he officially stepped onto the path of acting when collaborating with Truong Ngoc Phong, Truong Tu Ky, Vuong Kien Quan... in the movie "Chim May", playing the second male role Tieu Phong.

In 2016, Diep Tieu Vy continued to be active in the film wave when participating in the film "Jian Jun Da Nghiep", taking on the role of Tran Nghi - the leader of the Xiangnan uprising. This is a film about the revolutionary war to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese army, starring Huo Jian Hua, Zhang Xin Yu, and Liu Ye.

In December 2017, Ye Xiaowei played the role of Yang Ye - the geological team leader in the TV series "Thien Khanh Ung Liep" acting alongside Vuong Tuan Khai. In May 2020, the actor was seen participating in the health education activity "Star Power", spreading knowledge and implementing health education. The aim was to help rural schools raise funds for health protection and build the first line of defense for children here to return to school during the COVID-19 epidemic.

Although Tieu Vy had the opportunity to collaborate with famous stars (such as Wallace Huo, Wang Junkai, and Zhang Xincheng), his name was still obscure and unnoticed. By 2023, he was quite active with a series of projects "Once a Young Man" (as Ha Tieu Chu), "Phim Nhat Niem Quan Son" (as Ly Thu Co), "Anh Cung Co Ngay Nay" (as Co Bac Thanh) and especially the role of Do Son Hau in "Truong Tuong Tu".

Do Son Hau is the older brother of Do Son Canh (Dang Vi Dong) who always wants to become the patriarch of Do Son clan. However, the clan only recognizes Canh. In addition, hatred has been ingrained in his blood, so he uses every trick to make his younger brother disappear forever.

Do Son Hau even had an affair with Canh's fiancee, Phong Phong Y Anh, giving birth to a son just to serve the purpose of revenge. Not stopping there, he also tried to win over the female lead Tieu Yeu (Duong Tu) to gain support and strong power behind her.

However, bad things often don't work out. He falls into Tieu Yeu's trap, from which he conflicts with Phong Phong Y Anh and all the secrets behind are gradually revealed. In the end, Hau is shot in the heart by his lover with a bow and arrow he gave her, leaving forever.

Thanks to this role, Diep Tieu Vy's name became more widely known to the public. He acted so well that the audience hated him so much, they even wanted to send him to the other world right from part 1 of "Truong Tuong Tu".

Most recently, Diep Tieu Vy continued to have the next film project in his career, "Liu Thuy Dieu Dieu", starring Nham Gia Luan and Ly Lan Dich. In this work, he plays the role of Ta Boi - the son of the king of the Liang Dynasty but has no future, all day long only knows how to party and hang around.

Now, this movie has come to an end but has caused a lot of controversy. Accordingly, in the final scene, Ve Chieu (Nham Gia Luan) sacrificed in the battle. As for Giang Tu (Ly Lan Dich), upon hearing the news of Ve Chieu's sacrifice, she was so heartbroken that she fell ill. Fortunately, she later recovered her spirit to raise their daughter and also to protect the people of Nguyet Lac according to Ve Chieu's wishes.

Many viewers were left with regrets and anger about this ending. Because the love story of Giang Tu - Ve Chieu was already difficult, overcoming many challenges to be together but in the end, they were separated by yin and yang, making the film's plot heavy and negative.

Not to mention that before that, Ve Chieu had suffered a lot, deserved to receive happiness instead of such a tragic ending. However, others think that "Liu Thuy Dieu Dieu" will have a side story or part 2 to let the main couple reunite or be together in another situation, another world.
