Ms. Thuy Dung said that raising cats is a fate. Previously, when she was pregnant, she was stressed so the doctor advised her to raise an animal to create connection and she chose to raise a cat.

In recent years, she has brought cats to compete in many countries outside of Vietnam such as Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Russia and European countries.

"Raising cats for competitions requires training and creating a living environment for them to get used to crowds and noisy environments in order to be able to compete in shows. Nowadays, applying technology to raising and caring for cats makes raising cats easy. easier".

Ms. Dung shared that perhaps the most expensive but most profitable investment is letting cats go on shows. The cost for this is about 600 million/year for domestic and foreign shows. In return, when their cats win p.rizes, the value of that cat is increased many times over.

Cat breeders for export said that initially, they must choose breeds with good genetic resources and apply appropriate care for breeding cats. At the same time, cats need to live in an environment with temperature and humidity suitable for each stage of development, with air conditioning in summer and heaters in winter.

The diet must also ensure quality and supplement the necessary micronutrients so that the cat can develop fully, have a good weight, have thick, beautiful fur, and be free of fungus.

In addition, each cat that is exported needs to be registered with the World Cat Federation to create a pedigree for the cat and have an identification chip attached.
