After that, Ms. Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien signed, indexed and clearly stated that she had received the full amount of money and the payment period was one year.

Many times she asked to repay the debt but was not paid by Tien. Ms. Trang made an appointment with Ms. Tien to go to a cafe to talk. At this coffee shop, taking advantage of Ms. Trang's loophole, Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien arbitrarily snatched the debt confirmation certificate and tore it up.

Therefore, Ms. Trang sued to request Thuy Tien to pay the principal debt of 1.5 billion VND and compensate an amount related to mental damage; Request Tien to post a public apology notice on 3 newspaper pages.

The chairman asked Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien's authorized representative about the defendant's signature in the debt acceptance agreement and Thuy Tien herself wrote "received in full".

The authorized representative of Ms. Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien stated that in 2017, when Thuy Tien participated in the Miss Southern contest, Ms. Trang proactively approached Tien, saying that Tien had potential so Ms. Trang would support. Ms. Tien said that she had no money, so Ms. Trang introduced Mr. Trong to lend him 1.5 billion VND:

"Mrs. Tien signed that she had received enough, but in reality she had not received it yet. In response to the question of the jury, representative of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Procuracy, about the handover and receipt of 1.5 billion VND, was there anyone who witnessed it or whether there was a camera to record the incident? Ms. Trang explained that when handing over money, she thought it was normal and the parties had confirmation, so she did not think about having witnesses or choosing a corner with a camera recording.

At the appeal hearing, the representative of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Procuracy said that the Go Vap District People's Court's trial had grounds, so it requested the Appeal Panel to maintain the first instance verdict (not accepting Ms. Trang's request to sue for Thuy). Tien paid back the loan of 1.5 billion VND, and compensated Ms. Trang for mental losses of nearly 15 million VND).

However, after deliberation, the jury announced that some issues needed to be clarified, so the trial was suspended until the afternoon of November 14 and will continue.
