Previously, Ha Phuong's husband owned a huge property, shouldering the family's economy because Ha Phuong did not have enough money to sing. After a loss in business, her husband was empty-handed, her family lost everything, and her career was unfinished.

When she and her husband were about to open a coffee shop to rebuild the economy, her father fell ill, was put in a nursing home, and the money went to take care of him. To pay for the hospital bills, the couple had to take out a car, borrow more and encroach on their children's school fees. The 19-year-old son at that time loved his grandfather as a pledge of his mother's motorbike.

Ha Phuong's father is the late reformed musician Van Hop. At the end of her life, when she picked up her father from the nursing home, she devoted all her time and money to taking care of her. On April 16, 2020, her father passed away amid a complicated epidemic. Ha Phuong struggled to organize a funeral. After that, she took her father's body to be buried in Hue - his hometown and placed his grave next to the grave of his grandparents in accordance with the will of the late musician. Many nights when she was sleeping, she woke up by inertia to change her father's diaper and when she realized that he was gone, she burst into tears.

After 49 days of her father's death, the house she rented because she owed too much money had to move. Arriving at her new place, her 3 children have to go to school 12 kilometers a day. Ha Phuong said that sometimes there were only three or four hundred thousand, there were days when instant noodles were not available to eat. Ha Phuong's mother-in-law often brings food, even small things like garlic and chili she also brings.

After that, the female singer tried selling food online. At first, she had difficulty because the customers were not many, the income was meager, and she had to deliver far away. Ha Phuong obeyed her husband, printed advertising leaflets and stuffed them into the door slots of families in the apartment complex. People gradually care and support her more.
