Famous beautiful girl missing for 25 years, found naked in a place no one expected

Blanche Monnier is a beautiful young lady from the 19th century. She and her noble family live in Poitiers, France, just a 4-hour drive from Paris. She is very beautiful, a beautiful beauty that any guy meets must "fall down". And that young lawyer was not immune to that either. The two fall in love with each other and love each other with an extremely strong love.

But this love is forbidden by Blanche's mother. The reason she gave was: the lawyer was too poor. Madame Louise used every means to prevent them from seeing each other. Of course, all the efforts of the mother were unsuccessful, Blanche remained steadfast in the love she chose.

In 1876, Blanche suddenly disappeared without a trace. Even her close friends or the lawyer she fell in love with didn't know where she was going. Blanche's mother and brother struggled for a while after her disappearance and then they had to get used to the truth.

After many years, people no longer mentioned Blanche. The disappearance of the noble lady became an unsolved mystery, until 1901, the Attorney General in Paris suddenly received a strange handwritten letter. The anonymous letter denounced a terrible truth:

"Dear Attorney General, I inform you of a terrible incident. There is a single woman imprisoned in Madame Monnier's house. For the past 25 years, she has lived as a ghost, starving and hungry. and filthy on his own rubbish and waste."

The police team was sent to check Monnier's house, the police officers were very aggressive, using force to push the door into the house. They scoured the house and discovered a tiny room with a terrible smell on the second floor. When the door was opened, the police nearly vomited from the strong smell emanating from the damp, dark room. like ink. In the midst of a pile of garbage, they were horrified to see a thin, boneless woman without a piece of clothing lying on a rotten mattress. It is none other than Blanche - the lady who has been missing for the past 25 years.

Blanche has been locked in this room for more than a quarter of a century. No sunlight, no talk, no cry for help. The doors are all sealed. And now, she is 50 years old but weighs only 25kg.

Her brother and maid sometimes come and throw her some leftovers. Blanche was not even clothed, not allowed to bathe. They imprisoned Blanche with the requirement that they must give up their love before being released, but until 1885, her lover died, Blanche continued to be imprisoned in the dungeon. Apparently, everyone in the house was used to her being locked up and they found it troublesome to release her from this prison.

The perpetrator of this crime is Blanche's biological mother - Ms. Monnier. Her goal is to completely separate her daughter from the infatuated lawyer, she locked her in the attic with the desire for her to give up that love. Ms. Monnier quickly admitted the crime and died 15 days later serving her sentence. Her brother, Marcel, was found to be an accomplice to her mother, and was sentenced to 15 months in prison.

Since Mrs. Monnier was in charge of the family and brother Blanche tried his best to help his sister but failed, he also did not commit any violence towards her sister. In the end, the trial found the brother innocent.

After a period of treatment in the hospital, Blanche gradually regained her health, regained some weight and was able to speak a few simple words. However, the mental trauma over the years made Blanche never able to become a normal person again.

She was sent to live in a sanatorium in Bois and spent 12 peaceful years before her death in 1913. Her story and life has been adapted into books, documents and is one of several cases. France's worst disappearance and mistreatment ever.
