The p.erpetrator of this crime is Blanche's biological mother - Ms. Monnier. Ms. Monnier quickly admitted the crime and died 15 days later serving her sentence. Her brother, Marcel, was found to be an accomplice to her mother, and was sentenced to 15 months in prison.
