Without relying on the help of others, disabled girl Tran Ngoc Anh Thu has risen to become a bachelor of pharmacy and earns a living by painting pets.

Tran Ngoc Anh Thu (25 years old) grew up in a temple in Dong Nai province. In the memory of the poor girl, the image of the mother is extremely blurred because it has been 20 years since she has seen that figure again.

Recalling sad memories, Thu said: "My mother took me to the temple when I was 5 years old, but I never saw my father. Sometimes the nuns still say: "The first day she came here, she couldn't read the word. no, but it knows everything in the world. It never stops talking"...

As I got a little older, I gradually became less talkative and narrowed myself down when I knew I was an abandoned child. Around the first year of middle school, I realized that my appearance was different from my friends, so I was very sensitive and afraid of people's eyes.

When I was young, I was very sad because I thought my mother didn't love me, but when I was older, I had more experiences and I realized that I am still very lucky and happier than many people. I don't blame my mother anymore, maybe leaving me at the temple was already her last choice and she was also very pitiful when she had to leave her child," Thu confided.

Living with orphans and being raised and cared for by nuns, but only Thu is a handicapped child, so she always feels self-conscious about herself. At the temple, all of you have people to adopt, but Thu does not. Only later did a sister come and adopt her as a sister.

To pass that time, Thu chose to be friends with pencils and paintings as a way to write a diary to express her thoughts and feelings. When she reached high school, Thu began to learn more about painting through Youtube channels.

In 2016, Thu left the temple, went to Ho Chi Minh City alone to study, and then went to the exam alone, rented accommodation in the middle of the big city.

Thu passed the information technology major, received a scholarship but dropped out halfway. The next year, Thu continued to study medicine at a college in Ho Chi Minh City according to the wishes of the nuns.

A bright opportunity opens the door to seemingly happiness with her friend, but this environment makes her unable to have a friend to eat, hang out with or confide in. Thu said, it seems that in her class, she has a special ability, which is invisibility.

At that time, her friend turned to painting as a way to relieve her heart. Thu drew more pictures, painted portraits to give to her adopted sister. Drawings, crayons have a strange power to help the little girl feel more in love with life.

Graduated in pharmacy, but her love of painting drew Thu to painting as a job to support her.

Her friend excitedly recalled that special opportunity: "In one time participating in a non-profit project, I received an invitation from an uncle to draw a picture of a pet. That was my first customer", Thu said. confide.

From that picture, many foreigners knew about Thu and ordered her to paint their pet. After 2 years of working with the profession, Thu has painted more than 100 paintings for foreign guests.
