But in fact, through research, the character in the video is Shirina Holmatova, with dual Australian and Uzbek citizenship, born in 2001. She is currently a freelance singer in Sydney. Possessing a beautiful beauty and sweet voice, Shirina has nearly a million followers on social media platforms. On Tiktok, she has 9.9 million likes on the videos posted.
"I came to Vietnam for the first time in February. Because I liked the country so much, I decided to visit again on July 7. Before I played See Love, I was quite nervous. But I think I gave my performance well. It didn't take me long to do this exercise because it's very popular," she said.
Shirina further revealed that she was surprised that her performance was well received. She was also happy to hear "sweet words of encouragement" from the audience. Earlier, Shirina had traveled to Vietnam to visit her boyfriend, a Vietnamese artist. At that time, she used to visit Hanoi, Ha Long, Ninh Binh and also held the piano, humming and singing in Hoan Kiem pedestrian street.
"I love all the places I go in Vietnam but Hanoi makes my heart flutter, brings the best emotions. This place makes me feel warm, full of love," she said.
Shirina said she likes to move around. Whenever she has the opportunity to travel, Shirina often holds the piano and sings at famous places in the world where she goes. Street performances are the main source of income for the beauty in her hometown of Sydney, Australia. However, when she travels to other countries, she does this because she wants to immerse herself in the local culture.
Before the video of singing "See Love", Shirina caused a fever when she improvisedly sang singer Min's song "Because Love Keeps Crashing Head". She wore a hat, life jacket and sat on a boat when passing through a cave in Ninh Binh.
Besides being excited about the performances, Shirina also expressed her passion for Vietnamese cuisine, vibrant nightlife in Ho Chi Minh City, diverse culture and kind people who are willing to help international tourists.
Shirina said she was attracted to Vietnam's impressive natural landscape, rich and diverse cuisine. She was very fond of pho, bun cha, beef squash, bread, rolls and tea. "I gained 3kg in just 3 weeks in Vietnam. Even now, when I return to Sydney, I still miss the taste of Vietnamese cuisine," Shirina said.
During her two visits to Vietnam, Shirina stayed for 3 weeks. "I had some really happy moments. I would love to develop my music career in Vietnam. If the Vietnamese audience supports, I would love to move to Ho Chi Minh City for 6 months", she shared.
