We kept changing it according to the director's film version "Southern Land". Actor Vincent and advisor Son Nam, moved the historical context of that time from the novel in 1945, then we move back to 1920 to 1930. At that time there were many states, associations, and many patriots. spontaneously created movements to fight against the French colonialists.

"I think this idea is very good. Because at that time, the spontaneity allowed An to experience many different environments - from meeting people in the Southwest there... We also know that the region The West also has a lot of immigrants, creating a very diverse culture such as Chinese, Khmer, indigenous people, Cham people and people from abroad immigrating in. And that is why we choose that change...", the director added.

The director also affirmed that the detailed changes were only aimed at the desire for diversity... Therefore, when negative feedback about the film spread, the film crew decided to make changes to the film: " When negative information spreads too much, it causes controversy and leads to people who haven't seen the movie misunderstanding us and that's not worth it, so we think we should fix it, re-edit parts that aren't too extreme. It's important that it doesn't affect the content or meaning of the movie... how to give the audience the best experience."

It can be seen that, despite the constant noise, the truth is that "Southern Forest Land" is winning at the box office.

From a media perspective, expert Nguyen Ngoc Long, the controversy surrounding the film in recent days is partly NXS's never-hidden "intent" to bring about revenue success. Because the producer wants to make a market-oriented film, everything they do is aimed at the market. Specifically, actor Hong Thanh posted a video praising the movie Dat Rung Phuong Nam, but his current statement caused controversy.
