The police have concluded the case of a high school suspected of having a camera in the women's restroom.

Last night (October 25), many articles appeared on social networks claiming that a male student of grade 12, NQH, at Tan Tuc High School, had installed a camera to secretly film female students in the restroom. This information made teachers and students extremely confused.

Binh Chanh District Police quickly coordinated with the Board of Directors of Tan Tuc High School to work with the students involved and their parents. After checking all the restrooms in the school, Binh Chanh District Police confirmed that they did not find any hidden cameras. NQH students also confirmed that they did not secretly film female students in the restroom. The inspection also did not find any offensive images as previously posted on social media.

The post has caused a stir in public opinion in recent days.

The information that NQH transferred to a nearby school is also completely fabricated. Currently, NQH is still studying at Tan Tuc High School. Binh Chanh High School (Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City) has also issued a statement confirming that it has not accepted any students from Tan Tuc High School to transfer recently.

Binh Chanh District Police have worked with the school's Board of Directors to deploy to homeroom teachers, organize class meetings to stabilize students' psychology. The police also asked parents and students to stay calm and not post unverified information on social networks. Any acts of fabrication, slander, or posting false information will be handled according to the law.

Previously, the false information originated from the fact that a male student NQH, grade 12, Tan Tuc High School, used his phone to secretly film a female classmate in grade 11 when he went to the cafeteria on October 23, 2024. A classmate of the female student discovered it and asked NQH to delete the clip, and a fight ensued.

On October 24, 2024, the school coordinated with Binh Chanh District Police and Tan Tuc Town Police to work with students and parents. During the meeting, student QH confirmed that he used his phone to film a female student without her consent, and had nothing to do with the images circulating on Telegram.

"Currently, the school is continuing to coordinate with authorities to work with parents and students related to the above incident," the report stated.

As reported by the media, since October 24, on some Fanpages and social networks Facebook, information has been spread "Rescue female students at Tan Tuc High School - Binh Chanh District".

The information immediately caused a stir with a series of subsequent shares with viral messages. A Fanpage named "Oh hay...." wrote: "More than 1,300 videos and 15,000 images of female students and female teachers were sold and shared with male students of other schools. With the support of his "girlfriend", QH was able to install a camera. The incident occurred at TAN TUC HIGH SCHOOL - BINH CHANH. Below the status, a series of comments from Facebook users expressed confusion. Some accounts continued to share related information such as the number of secretly filmed clips reaching thousands of clips, then the clips and images of the female student were sold, even exchanged between this secret filming group and secret filming groups of several other high schools in the city.

Binh Chanh District Police have worked with the school's Board of Directors to stabilize the students' psychology. "Parents need to stay calm, encourage their children to study with peace of mind, and post information carefully and with verification when using social networks. Any acts of fabrication, slander, or posting false information will be handled according to regulations," Binh Chanh District Police warned.
